Do yourself a favor and visit this cute restaurant. The egg preparations are amazing here. We ordered a cafe latte, omelet, and egg Benedict.. everything was damn tasty 😋. The service is fast. The staff is polite and makes great food recommendations. The owner helped us with a group photo. Extra star for the hospitality 🙂. We will be definitely back again !!

The food is amazing! But I really want to address the service. Such friendly people! They joke and talk with you (if you're open to it). We had someone with short hair at the sides (we missed his name somehow) that took our orders, and he was incredibly friendly and made everyone feel welcome. In case he ever reads this - we were the group of two, and you served us mimosas! You definitely left an impression. When we think of Quebec City we will think of you!

Such a cute little place in Quebec. We stopped here for brunch and tried their crepes, waffle and club sandwich. The crepes were so delicious and filling since they had bechamel sauce. The waffle was very light and fluffy, the cream was so tasty. The club sandwich was so flavorful 😍

Very friendly service and tasty food! The portions here are quite large so be prepared to eat! The omelette was HUGE and tasty. I got the Western Omelette which is ham, potatos and onions! Delicious with every bite and the potatos were cooked perfectly 🍳🥔. We also got two different eggs benedict; one with ham and one with smoked salmon. It is worth stopping here for some brunch before heading on your walk into the Quebec downtown area!

Fresh made to order local features. A great place to try as it's not just a tourist restaurant. Had the ham and cheese crepe and it didn't disappoint. Cool decor and not pretentious.

We just loved this place - we can twice (our first 2 nights in Quebec.). The staff was awesome and the service was great. My omelette was incredible and the second night we wanted to share a salad and pizza and they every split it up for us to share. The wine selection was great and the place was cozy.

Came here on the first night of Quebec City. Ordered some dishes and waited for about 40 min with nothing came. Asked and they have all dishes came in 10min. Probably forgot our order. Poutine fries are not fresh fried because it’s cold. Other dishes like microwaved … pizza with no bottom dough. Not recommend. Two stars for service. The guy is funny and nice.

The steak was cooked to perfection. The chicken is so tender and perfect. The dessert is out of the world. The cherry on the cake is the host and the restaurant staff who are charming and witty.

This place is amazing! Friendly staff who are bilingual and very patient when it comes to people who are not great with French. Friendly atmosphere and superb food at a wonderful price. Definitely come here!!!

Their Poutine was exceptional. The waitresses are polite and professional. Their dessert menu is also great. We tried their Cafe glacé with ice cream and it was the best i ever had.
We had our early dinner in this restaurant during our tour in old Quebec. Their food is delicious and with reasonable price, for 41$ we already have pasta, poutine and chicken wings. The place is bit small but clean and cozy.

Rude hostess, waiters and manager. When we complained to the manager, her excuse was that they were really busy. We ended up walking out even before we were seated. Worst restaurant experience ever.

I find breakfast really hard for restaurants to screw up and here's no different. Ordered the poached eggs (they brought me only one when I had ordered two but got fixed) and the bacon which were good. The wait staff were a bit stretched thin as this place gets crowded, but it's fine for your basic breakfast
standards

L'omlette in the old town was awful. Waitress had a deep lung cough and when we requested she not serve us, she accused my wife of being rude. The manager was defensive and dismissive of our concerns. We will never eat there again.

I'm not big on sour pancakes so yeah... Smoothies were ok but seeing how the fruits in our plate looked like, I'm guessing I ate spoiled fruits in the smoothie. Almost had a heart attack when I saw the bill. Go to the grocery store next street and it'll be much better.

Burnt cheese on soup, and burnt garlic bread. Daughter had raw pizza dough. Small portions, overpriced and prepare to pay extra for everything.
Charming/ restaurant, friendly staff, good food. We had breakfast here three times during our visit to Quebec City, staff very friendly and accommodating. Good omelettes, bacon crisp, French toast excellent. Almond croissant also outstanding. Cheery surroundings. We enjoyed every minute we were there, and priices were reasonable. Some of these reviews sound like they were in a different place, or maybe it's upgraded. Would definitely want to go back on our next trip here.

Tom & Mary from NY

Don't even.. Worst breakfast ever - cold food, lukewarm coffee, cold service.

Crap in a Crust. I was born and raised in Quebec so while on vacation in Quebec City, we decided to hunt for authentic tourtiere and spotted this dish on their menu. What we got could best be described as beef pot pie - huge chunks of dried up beef in canned gravy with canned mushrooms in a burnt crust - nothing like any tourtiere I've ever made or eaten. To add insult to injury, the meal was expensive. Never going back to this place!

Waited over an hour to get our food and it was cold when we got it. Toast were hard and the soft drink was flat
Save your money and go to mc Donald's it's better food.

Disgusting!!!. We went to eat here for a late lunch. I ordered the fish....big mistake. The fish was cooked from frozen, out of a box. It was obvious that it had been put in the microwave on top of that. I was shocked. It tasted like crap. My son ordered the chicken which was dry and rubbery. We both couldn't eat our meals. Not once did the server come to our table to see if everything was ok...she probably knew that we'd complain about the terrible food. This place is horrible. Do not go eat there, save your $. By far, the worst place I've ever eaten at!!!!!!

GREAT PLACE. We really enjoyed the service! We talked quite a bit to the owner. He gave us a bit of old Quebec City history and also where to visit and shop. We had breakfast there 2 days and it was great both times. Our only complaint was that the portions weren't very big. Example. My boyfriend ordered 2 eggs/2 toast home fries and bacon. There were only 2 strips of bacon and very few home fries. The atmosphere was great! Would definitely return if we travel there again.

It was terrible. The first thing you smell when you walk in is smoke. The service was slow and the food even worse. A crappy meal that was very pricy. Don't let the old fashion building and cool name fool you

Great for breakfast. We had breakfast twice at this little bistro. reasonable prices and very good breakfast fare. We can't speak to other meals. Very close to the Frontenac.

Walk away and do not eat at this restaurant....we ordered fish and asked the waitress what type of fish. She told us it was cod. We thought good. But when are food arrived it turned out to be fish from a box. We were dumb founded. Two small pieces of fish that you buy from captain highliners in a box and a small portion of fries. Are dinner came to $34.00 with two beers. I'm still shaking my head. So avoid this place like the plaque.

Breakfast was great.. I went for breakfast and it was great. The first day me and my girlfriend had a standard 2 egg breakfast and an Omelette. The bacon was fresh and the bread was homemade. The Omelette was a traditional french canadian potato and bacon. This was so good we had to go back the next day and get it again.Great service.

How to ruin a Caesar Salad and an Omelette.... My partner and I are in Quebec City, after a lovely stay in Montreal. Earlier tonight, we were hungry and searching for a place to grab a modest dinner, fairly quickly... and decided upon l;Omelette, as we walked through the walled City of Quebec.

I certainly thought their namesake dish would be pretty good, if not great. Boy, was I surprised. What a let down.

The staff is reasonably friendly, but anything beyond Poutine and a bettered, toasted croissant proved too much a challenge. I had an omelette, and my partner had quiche and a salad. The omelette might have had 2 small eggs and came with French fries, served medium rare. The quiche was edible, but the Caesar salad was a small amount of lettuce with a huge handful of croutons... and a half a thimble of dressing.

On the upside, my partner really liked the poutine, and I thought the toasted croissant was quite tasty.

My advice... walk through the walled city, and if you can't afford to eat at the Chateau Frontenac, you may want to venture outside the walls for food. (We had another bad experience in the walled city two years ago... you'd think we'd learn...)

Average. Staff was very friendly. The food was average. Escargo was excellent, Caesar salad didn't taste like Caesar salad. Poutine was very bland.

I would skip this place for lunch although I am curious to see if their breakfast is better.

Lovely quaint brunch place. Good wholesome breakfast options.
