Came with 9 people when the restaurant was empty and the owner said it was not possible to seat us and then very rudely told us that if he would allow us to dine in his restaurant we would all have to order 9 individual dishes. We already were planning to order 9 dishes but after this encounter we just wanted their soup to go instead and he was still rude to us. He also made a remark about my ethnicity as I was leaving. The harira soup did not taste like harira either, wouldn’t be surprised if he spit in my food.

Great Moroccan food at a reasonable price. I enjoy the lamb the most. It is off the beaten path, but worthy of a walk down the alley.

I dont understand the negative reviews. We walked in got a table and had a very pleasant dinner. This is authentic Moroccan food with a limited menu so all the food is fresh. The Tagine had the feel of a home cooked meal and the chicken brochette plate was nicely composed and tasty. Service was very good and friendly. This is a very different restaurant than the typical tourist place in Old Quebec.

We had dinner in this place and I would like to share my experience:
The place is nice. One young waiter was nice and helpful.
The Harira soup did not taste like harira at all and we had to ask for lemon and pepper to make the taste acceptable.
The Tajaine did not taste good .
The chicken barbecue was good.
The coscos was not nice .
We did ask for extra plates to share and extra bread with the soup and we were ready to pay any extra charges .
At the end the owner was very rude to us and accused us that we asked for many things for free and refused to give us a spoon ( he did not have a clean one !!).
Then asked us not come again to his place.
That was the worst eating experience ever.

The rudest staff .. they dont have a good business sense.. they wouldn't allow kids in the restaurant and were trying to force my 8 year old to order.. she didnt want to eat.. all 4 other adults were hungry and looking forward for their Tagine which was rhe most expensive item on their menu.. needless to say.. we left and they lost 4 paying customers. Will never go there again.

Please save your health and avoid this place at all costs. This is a unhygienic hell hole and the chef and server are extremely rude. We pointed out they have rats and they shrugged it off. Bad smell inside and very bland food. Horrible experience.

I don't know how i stumbled upon this place, but it was in a little tucked away corner. Kind of cool, and the baklava was really good. Wish it was a bit more comfier. The décor all looked and felt pretty cheap
