Review Le Bistro - Quebec City

I went there with some friends to have dinner during a conference. The restaurant was quiet and the atmosphere was nice. Service was super friendly and efficient. The food (I had the chef's suggestion - steak and salada) was amazing and the portion was great. My friends had the special pasta with shrimp and was also delicious. We all ordered brownies for desert and we're not disappointed. We all had an amazing experience. I returned for breakfast in the following day and was surprised with an amazing view and a delicious cappuccino. The service was also friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

Gave one star because our server was lovely and tried her best. I ordered the bistro burger and my husband the wings. The wings were nothing to brag about. Give them a 2/5. The burger on the other hand was a reheated (warm at best) patty that was clearly made hours prior. The fat in the burger is still congealed and they don't reheat the patty enough to melt the cheese. I wouldn't have eaten it if I wasn't so hungry and every reayuaryant was fully booked within a 2km radius. The first burger was still cold in the centre- even the bacon tasted old. They sent it back and made me a new one. The patty was just warm. It tasted old and it was difficult to eat. Only consider this place if you are desperate like we were. The server was only 1 of 2 and the place did get busy. Bless her heart, we could see her trying her best to manage too many tables for one person. She is the only reason we are giving this place a star.

This place has decent breakfast, but this one server is VERY RUDE, screams unpolitely when taking order and when delivering the plates. gave us the wrong order and he was rudely asking "IT'S OK?!?!" in french, and we were too nice to not make a scene so we took the "wrong order". A few minutes later he came back with the right order when we already started eating and blamed it on us. He almost never came back for the bills in fact i have been writing this while waiting for the check they never comes. honestly out of so many breakfast at hotels i've ever had this is the worst service ever. 35 minutes to finally order, gets the wrong food, another 35 minutes (at least) to get the check to leave. hell this place is terrible.

Went there for a drink. They were out of stock on many items?!?. I opted for a gin tonic and was not great (selection was terrible, used a regular glass for Water, tonic was not really good..). Service was ok..

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. We stayed at the Delta hotel for two weeks and decided to have a night just at the hotel bar. My cider came in a champagne glass which was a nice touch and I ordered the pulled pork salad with butternut squash, sunflower seeds, arugula and cranberries. It was absolutely fantastic and a new favorite dish. I can't wait to get home to make it myself. The bread we received at the beginning of the meal was very hard and the butter so hard it was hard to even put it on the bread, but the bread was just a nice 'before meal' gesture so we were not too bothered. The prices where also pretty good. Perfect for a night of not wanting to leave the hotel.

Good food, nice service and good food. I highly recommend the smoked salmon which is made in house. They do master the proper steak cooking and the peppercorn sauce is to die for. This place has only two issues, the menu is very short and offers a very limited choice and the portion sizes are on the small side.

Food is okay, not the greatest... just didn’t feel like going out to grab dinner. That was the biggest mistake! Waited over 45 minutes for our food.
