Excellent French food! The carpaccio with truffle oil is very tasty. All meals come with a soup or salad starter. Portions are generous for fine dining standards.
Lovely restaurant. The main dishes come with an entree, and the menu is based on local produce. The food was delicious. We tried the bison carpaccio with truffle sauce, venison with a mushroom and rosemary sauce, seafood with a saffron-shellfish sauce, and crème brûlée. You can bring your own wine (no corkage fee).
What a great surprise at this place. I was amazed with all 7 dishes ordered: sweet potato soup, beet salad, bison carpaccio, beef and fish tartare, seafood risotto, duck and creme brûlée. All dishes had depth, with high end presentation and incredible flavors. Service was professional and being able to bring our own wine was the cherry on top. Would come back 10000%!
Pretty good French cuisine, not on par with Montreal, but everything tastes good and the ambiance is decent, BYOW and prices are reasonable for the quality
Delicious food, lovely experience.
We lucked out getting last minute reservations for an early time slot. The place filled up very fast and seemed like a local favorite. The innovative menu in french is on a traveling blackboard that the server brings around. She was very helpful in translating it. We had the crème brulee foie gras for the appetizer. My friend ordered the venison which he thought was one of the best he's ever had and I had the duck.
We had creme brûlée au foie gras, escargot, lamb filet, sweetbread, scallops&shrimp, cod, and duck dishes. Dinner comes with soup/salad and tea/coffee. We ordered some appetizers to share. We also shared our dinner plates. Food was excellent! This French restaurant is quite big. Staff were attentive and professional. This is a bring your own wine restaurant and there is no corkage fee. I would come back to this restaurant when I’m in Quebec. Cheers!
