Went in to have a Bloody Caesar and a vegan poutine, which was on the menu. Was told by the staff that there was no vodka, and there was no vegan gravy OR vegan patties for burgers left, meaning my girlfriend could only have the salad. Bummer!
My burger was good, trio was good for the price. Fries were good, and whatever ketchup they use is great.
Wish I could give a higher review, but having a tonne of inventory missing from the menu on a not-so-busy Sunday in April was a huge let down.
Also: The Chic Cola is quite yummy.

I'm still amazed at the server remembering 4 different meal combos without writing, and recommending them according to dietary preferences.

Definitely get the specialty fries - those with the black garlic mayonnaise sauce were amaaaazing. The mango housemade soda was also pretty good but tasted a little watery. My burger was pretty great too, but nothing out of the ordinary compared to another nice burger place.
We got a seat pretty quickly and the service was alright. The waiter immediately forgot what drinks we ordered and tried to bring us someone else's, then brought us two beef burgers instead of the chicken burger my partner ordered. But they did correct it right away, he had to wait about another 10 for his food.
The prices were really great compared to the high prices in this area though! If you want a lunch that isn't too overpriced and quick service with some amazing fries, this is the spot.

Pretty funny it's called chic shack but there is only one chicken sandwich option. The chicken sandwich is actually really good, a lot smaller than I thought it would be though. The sides are pretty good too, the peppered maple chips are pretty good. One of the best things about this restaurant is if you get a window seat, you have great views of old town and all the people who are walking through.

The food and drink were tasty, and people were friendly. I went there alone and it was nice to sit by the window. Although, It was a bit cold. The mango soda was one of the most delicious drinks I’ve had. I really really liked the Cocorico salad too.

Really loved our meal here. We sat by an open window which was lovely. We got the raspberry soda and dark chocolate milkshake to drink. Both were delicious. We got a “poutine 2.0” which was essentially home fries with toppings, not the greatest, and an amazing salad that seemed to have everything in it! Grain mix, kale, Brussels, asparagus, granola, you name it. Topped with the vegan patty which was delicious. And all for a really reasonable price, considering the area.

I was really excited about this place, and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience.
Price: this tiny bowl that could pass as a side was $20. The bowl was also half gravy and was weak on fries and curds.
Quality: the gravy looked and tasted like it was from a mix. The "smoked meat" addition was tiny shreds with little flavour.
Service: I wasn't allowed to get takeout, which is not good in a covid world. I also has to wait a long time around my bill.
I recommend avoiding this place if you want a decent bowl of poutine.

Our first stop after we arrived was to Chic Shack because it was closed when we visited in Oct 2021. Friendly service, good burgers (we had a Chic and a Shack) and tasty Parmesan fries. The chocolate shake lived up to its hype but the prices are quite high - the chocolate shake is served in a small mason jar and cost $7.

Odile was our server, and she was awesome! She and the rest of the staff are very friendly. We had poutine, which was absolutely delicious. The price of 18$CA for a whole pitcher of IPA beer is good for la vieille ville, so we had one. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Le Chic Shack. Of course, I would recommend it!

This place had the tastiest food, we had the Bison burger and the mushroom vege poutine, they did run out of the other options of poutine as it was later in the day though this option did not disappoint

The food was very tasty. We had the Le Chic Burgers, Parmesan fries and homemade chips, which were all good. The burgers were smaller than we expected so not as filling for a big guy. The horse radish aioli was really good. Their homemade sofa weren’t really great, we didn’t drink ours -the ginger and blood orange. They gave us lots of water though. We would eat there again!

So delicious! It was worth waiting for a table. The service was fast and friendly. Shared the vegetarian poutine and it was AMAZING - the mushroom gravy was so yummy! Also had the Le Chic burger, and while the burger was quite good, the maple bacon was really great.
Eat here - you will be stuffed and happy. Mmmm...

Great experience. Burgers were juicy and loved the choices. Poutine and maple chips were yummy and they had a nice beer selection. Service was very friendly and fast. Nice stop when visiting Quebec City with limited time to see city. Definitely recommend!
