Review Le Billig Creperie-bistro - Quebec City

Dessert crepe was better than the savoury ones. I didn’t enjoy the texture of wheat flour crepe. Ingredients were good. Dessert crepe was the best

Very friendly staff, and the owner even came over to apologize for short staffed for the evening, and he and the other girl were very pleasant and explained the menu to us. The food quality is spectacular, homemade style, but 5-star mentality and quality.

The service and atmosphere of this restaurant is great! But for crepes i didn't feel its anything special but I do think its worth the visit for none sweet crepes.

Amazing breakfast & hospitality! I took the classic crepe with chorizo, eggs and cheese. The crepes are made with buckwheat flour! I’ll try to make them at home after. Seems healthier than the regular flour one. The also love to show sports, and I’m a sports lover, so we’re fine.

From the warm welcome all the way to the bill…it’s one of the most friendliest staff around the city. You must try their signature buckwheat crepes. We had one sweet (lemon curd) & one savoury (buckwheat with mustard & sausage). Come early or reserve ahead, otherwise this place gets busy around noon.

Chill atmosphere with great customer service and fair pricing. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. I have a gluten intolerance and it was great that all their crepes are made with buckwheat flour. I got the mushroom crepe and my partner got the duck crepe for our main dishes. They were both average tasting. The duck was lacking a bit of flavour and the mushroom was a little soggy. We also got a chocolate crêpe for dessert to share. It was good, but I wish there was an option to add fruit in it. Overall I am rating it a 3/5 because although the service was great, I believe the food could use some improvement.

Really nice atmospheric place. Crepes both salées et sucres were amazing. Looks like a cool place to watch sports too. The server we had she was very lovely and bubbly.

Amazing restaurant in Quebec City. The staff were friendly, the place was buzzing and the food was incredible. I had the best crepe that I ever tasted, my tastebuds were enjoying and I did not want the experience to end. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Time of Visit: Lunch on August 19th Order: The Pontivienne crepe (mushrooms, onions, bacon, and cheddar cheese, with a white whine and fresh cream sauce), and The Extreme crepe (poached pear, vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate, and almonds) Pros: The crepes themselves, portion sizes, and pricing Cons: Parking could be a minor issue as it is close to the tourist section of Old Quebec Thoughts: We went to Quebec for one day of our trip to maine and stopped here for lunch. We both love crepes but I (having never gone to Europe) had never really had a true "French" crepe. The crepes were phenomenal, absolutely the best I have ever eaten, hands down. The savory crepe had the perfect balance of sauce, crepe, and topping. The white winter and cream sauce was to die for, had they served it in a bowl I would have thought about drinking it. The sweet crepe actually had an entire poached pear dipped in chocolate sitting on top of the crepe. It had just the right amount of ice cream and chocolate sauce; there was enough to get a little in each bite of crepe but not so much that the crepe itself felt drowned in the toppings. It is also worth mentioning that my brother who came with us had duck in his crepe and it was by far, the best duck I have ever eaten. The portions on the crepes were also huge; if you were extremely hungry you could eat one on your own along with a desert but my wife and I split the the two crepes and it was plenty of food for a good sized lunch. While meal was a tad pricy (I believe we spent around $30 for the two crepes) the size of the portions more than makes up for it. I really can not rave enough about how good these crepes were. It was like the first time you eat something and it just tastes perfect. I'm sure that if you ate her often you would fine things that you could improve on but for me, these were the perfect crepes.

4e visite : la nourriture est excellente, mais le service est ridiculement long sur l’heure du dîner. Le restaurant semble constamment en manque d’effectifs pendant les périodes les plus achalandées. De plus, la section bar est glaciale en hiver.

Wow - this was the best meal of our entire vacation in Quebec City. I even took a picture of the menu so I could remember every aspect of my dinner. The service was wonderful - she even helped my daughter who tried to order her selection in French. The food arrived quickly and the atmosphere was nice and quaint. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Bravo!

The crepes were excellent, the music was great! It was very busy so a longer wait then usual but the server mentioned it as we sat down so to be expected. The only minus was the missed order of hot chocolates we ordered, which they charged us for, partly our fault for not noticing. They were desperately understaffed during this busy time, more help is needed, too long between visits from our server.

My wife add I were only in Quebec City for a couple of days. We ate here twice despite the countless other great restaurants we missed out on. Staff is friendly and the food is awesome. They have a mix of savory and sweet crepes, each one we tried was excellent. Highly recommended!

Food was absolutely amazing! Savory and sweet crepes were some of the best I had in Quebec! The service and environment were equally as good!

Les seules vraies crêpes Bretonnes à Québec!!! La Cancalaise ( pétoncles, tombée de poireaux et beurre blanc citron) est à se rouler par terre, et le kouign aman est presque aussi bon qu'à la maison!! Merci!!!!

I didn't think savoury dinner crepes were my thing... I was wrong! We ended up here after picking another Quebec city spot that wasn't quite what I wanted... And I'm so glad we did. It's been a few months now, but I can recall the delicious sharing of duck with my wife. Stellar!

I loved this place... The food is really good and the service was amazing... I watched a soccer match over there and my team won... LOL
