Masaru Sushi is a very adorable place and the host provides excellent food and service. The portion is quite big, it’s a struggle for me to finish the 12 maki combine. Chef’s choice is a no brainer, very fresh.

I had a lunch here, small place , the chef will make the type of roll that you are going to eat according the fresh fish that he have at the day.
You can choose few entre if you would like ( miss suop and the Gyoza are really good )
The rolls are good but in my opinion you do not fill to much the fish because is cover from too much sauce, but the rolls taste good ... maybe too much onion ...

That was a very good choise for sushi in Old Québec. The ingredients were fresh, the wait time was not long. The employee working was super polite and nice. And the most important that the sushi were delicious. This is the best sushi place in Québec city. Highly recommended!

If ur traveling from somewhere that sushi restaurants are plenty, you will be confused by the reviews of the food on google. I ordered a 10 piece chef’s choice raw and all 10 pieces were the same, so I’m not sure where the variety in flavors the reviewers were raving about. There were probably two types of fish inside the roll. The staff was very nice though

The best sushi I have had! They serve a hot one whuch was soooo good. The menu isn’t a regular one. We picked one that leaves it to chef to decide what to make amd it was phenomenal! I wanted to give it 4 stars because the hist isn’t quite someone you can expect an smile nor the place looks very nice ( but it was clean), but I felt the food was so good that it wouldn’t be fair to take a star away!

This sushi restaurant is absolutely superb. The setting and aesthetic is very, very calm and enjoyable. But the food itself is an even bigger step from how amazing the setting and aesthetic are. I was in absolute disbelief at how great the food is, it’s in my own experience the BEST sushi I have ever eaten. The service was also quite enjoyable and the man serving/cooking was very polite. The next time I’m in Quebec City, I think I’ll definitely stop by for lunch again.

The sushi is average as I’ve been travelling around the world and had a better sushi. Masaru sushi is rather unique, however, if it’s too complex it might lose the content a bit because fine dinning is not just like putting everything together. Also, I wasn’t impressed by the service as he was rushing me.
