Delicious food. Friendly and quick service.
This restaurant had a 3 course meal option for the kids. Which was considerate for families whom enjoy taking their kids out to dine with them. It was a nice touch.
For the kids we ordered the potage, pasta rosée, chocolaté ice-cream with caramel. The wife had the carre agneau and I had the steak and fries.
I preferred the steak. It was cooked perfectly. The lamb was a little bit too rare but was still enjoyable.
Chocolate truffle with a strawberry purée to finish us off. Good night!

Really nice spot fora fancy brunch. I had the waffle with duck confit breakfast and my partner had the scallop and pork flank breakfast. Both were delicious.
I maxed out on the salt from the duck confit before I finished, but that's confit for you. The oyster mushrooms and the leek sauce were perfect.

My experience at Bistro La Cohue was great. The food was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly cooked and was also a great portion. Along with the great food, the service was just amazing. We had come in quite late after a long day of driving across the country and Robert met us with so much energy. He was very attentive, friendly and he even spoke multiple languages (including Spanish for some of the other guests). Amazing food, great atmosphere, great service.

What an amazing discovery! I’d give 6 stars on 5 for this one if I could. We stopped as a group of six late on July 27th. The food was just amazing and the service was impeccable! We had good laughs with Kathleen who was an incredible waitress. She was always a step ahead and was so fun. She’s been working there for around 10 years and you can see she loves people and her job. I think the newest waiter has been working there 2.5 years unfortunately I forgot to ask his name. He was a super nice guy as well. They look like a big family and this really makes a good ambiance. I wish we could stay another day to go back. Next time we’re in Quebec it will be top on our list. Thanks for the great experience!

My wife and I were on a road trip through the Northeastern United States and Canada. Wanting to visit and get acquainted with the Quebec province and especially Quebec City, we decided to spend a few days there. My wife has always researched and choreographed our vacations to the smallest detail. Anyway, she arranged a dinner at Bistro La Cohue on a Friday evening. After noticing the restaurant was located 7 miles from the old Quebec City, in a strip mall, I was a bit reluctant to spend my evening in that location. I did read the excellent reviews and decided to venture out. The food, presentation and service were second to none. Our waitress, Carole could not have been more attentive and the desert bought a tear to my eyes. Had I skipped my reservation, I would have lost out on one of the best restaurants in the Quebec City area. Drive there, escape the tourist area, ignore the Strip mall, and enjoy the amazing hospitality of a true local Quebec City experience.

Hidden gem! They have the best service and atmosphere and the food is divine! They do not have any vegetarian items but the chef will always prepare something from scratch for you. We love coming there!

Absolutely amazing experience! Our server Robert was very attentive and pleasant, he squeezed us in at the end of the day and was still able to be social and professional throughout the experience. He also knows multiple languages and does not mind to have English speaking clientele as some other restaurants do.
We ordered the Salmon Tartar, which was a very fresh and generous portion; the French fries were so well fried and tasted amazing with the sauce; Morue was perfection from the fish itself to the mouthwatering potato puree/mash; and finished off with the Crêpe Frite which put us over the top. We walked out feeling extremely satisfied with the food, service and the pricing. Considering our total for 2 was under a hundred and how stuffed we were, we would say it was very much worth it. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Wow wow wow c'est le seul mot qui me vient car c'était parfait!! Un énorme merci pour cette magnifique soirée que vous nous avez fait passer pour le 50ieme anniversaire de mariage de mes parents hier ( le 23 septembre) l'ambiance était parfaite, la nourriture était exquise, le service impeccable!!! Je recommande fortement!! Merci mille fois et nous n'attendrons pas 50 ans pour y retourner hihihi c'était parfait!!!!

Nous avons essayé La Cohue pour la première fois samedi soir et mon garçon de 12 ans, Olivier, m'a dit qu'il fallait revenir sans faute. Le service est hors de l'ordinaire, les assiettes sont belles et savoureuses. Je n'ai jamais mangé un aussi bon boudin. Merci à Anny-Pier pour l'excellent service.

C'est une très belle découverte pour moi. J'ai adoré mon repas et j'ai aussi entendu de très bons commentaires des gens qui m'accompagnaient. J'ai rarement eu un aussi bon service et la musique d'ambiance était parfaite.Que dire de la terrine de faisan et pistaches, chutney d’abricots et de l'excellent steak. Si j'avais un commentaire constructif à faire par rapport à ce qui pourrait être amélioré, ce serait au niveau des pommes de terre et des légumes qui bien qu'offerts en quantité suffisante manquaient un peu de raffinement. Il faut dire qu'il s'agissait d'un repas de groupe. Un merci spécial à Bruno et Guillaume de même qu'à toute l'équipe.
