This restaurant has my favourite Chinese food and I try to eat there every time I visit Vancouver Island. It is a small family business with authentic, fresh food made by the highly trained Cantonese chef/owner. I love how friendly the family is and how consistent and delicious the food is. It can sometimes take a while when its busy, like any place that makes food fresh to order. Furthermore, Qualicum Beach is a small town with few working-age residents and is lucky to a great restaurant like this. To those who feel entitled to write a poor review based on a $1 credit card fee which is not really that unusual, especially for a small family business and not a corporate chain, please note that there are several banks within walking distance to withdraw cash from.
The food was amazing, fresh, so very tasty. Best Chinese food I have ever had. Tons of flavor and vegetables were crispy. Good size portions and decently priced. Gorgeous ocean front patio with spectacular views of the bay. Service was very friendly and relaxed. 100% recommend this spot.
We had a delicious meal out on their beachfront patio. They serve a lot of tasty dishes, its hard to choose which to have!
Excellent dinner. Salt & Pepper Tofu SO tasty, loads of chilies. The ginger beef was outstanding with real ginger. Definitely recommend this place.
Good food. Amazing location as the patio is right next to the beach. Portion size is good value. Lots of tofu in the veg dishes for vegans & vegetarians. Nice family running the place. We will be back.
Yummy food, generous portions, great service. And the waterfront seating - indoor and out - is fantastic. Glad to have found this family run restaurant. Will definitely return.
