Take a time machine back to 1996. The atmosphere oozes mid 90s. The cocktail list is bellini and slushy focused. Had pizza and wings. Good service and the menu is great value.

There were a LOT of options for V & GF, but I went with the Thai Bowl.
What I wanted: a big bowl of healthy food that would satiate my hunger and not feel heavy.
What I got: That and more food stuff! Baby Spinach instead of kale was refreshing.
Rice was cooked & seasoned perfectly and still hot, plus topped with black sesame.
They nailed the techniques for the cabbage, carrot and radish. And the mango was ripe and fresh.
I love when a restaurant knows how to season and balance even a veggie dish. I'll definitely order from here again.
We had a great dinner there, even with some delays from the kitchen. The labour shortage is widespread on the island so Lefty's can't be blamed for that. Micheala gave excellent friendly service and was on top of everything. She let us know about the delays, which was no trouble. My girls loved their kids' meals and my crispy chicken burger was excellent. The patio was a pleasant place to eat on a nice summer evening. We live in Parksville, and have been here many times. It's a great place to go with a family and it's owned and operated by a local family. 🙂 I'd really recommend this place for families over here visiting our little paradise. Just be patient and relaxed with any possible delays and you'll have a good experience.

The food here is always 100% on point. The rocket fries are so dang good we good an appetizer big plate of them AND upgrade our sides! Hipster is fantastic, Chicken panko burger is unreal. Everything is fresh and seems to be made there.The service is always excellent too!

Great place to eat, the service was splendid, the kitchen was having a hard time but when the food came it was heavenly all the same, since it was a typical Sunday brunch I had what you would expect but club that with iced tea and you got yourself a meal worthy of the kings.

After the saucy reply to my last 5 star review while travelling down island to Parksville for the Sandcastles we had to return for another review.
Back to Lefty's for Sunday brunch and I ordered the classic Cesar and my usual 1/2 Benny. The Benny was good and soft, how I like it. The crispy tater tots were unexpected and greasy, so I would not order those again. The deep fried pickles and salad were more satisfying than the brunch. Cesar's are on the spicy side. So sorry, I have to drop to four stars, however, your servers are very good.
I really liked the service and big patio space. Lefty's has a easy going atmosphere that's welcoming to all groups. Food was great! Half salad half fries with sandwich? No problem! Salmon eggs Benedict with tater tots!? Yes please!

Visited Lefty's based on a recommendation. This place was great. Had a couple of local beer offerings, where all 3 were very tasty. We had the Rocket Fries, Poke Nachos, Chicken Wings, Crispy Chicken burger and Kids cheese burger. The Rocket fries had good flavour, the Poke Nachos were fantastic, the jalapeños tasted really fresh and had some good heat. The Poke Salmon was good, could've been more but there was still a good amount. The Wings were cripsy and they are served with sauce on the side. We had the Ancho Chiplote BBQ sauce. One little had the Crispy Chicken with regular fries. The little gave the sandwich a 11/10. Said the chicken had the right amount of crisp, was still really moist and had good flavor. The other little had the Kids cheeseburger, loved it. For dessert, there was the Worms n Dirt, and the Brownie Bomb. The Brownie Bomb was awesome, though not meant for those with nut allergies as it has a huge chunk of peanut butter in the middle. The only major knock was that it took a bit to get the food, but we were told upfront, and therefore prepared to wait.
Lefty’s is always a favourite when I come to parksville. I really enjoyed the nonalcoholic drink options, as well as our server allowed us to order off the kids menu. Our serve was kind, thoughtful and on the ball with refilling our glasses. The food was wonderful and the patio was perfect!
I had the Salt and Pepper chicken wings on deck outside. Crispy and hot. The waitress was friendly and we had good prompt service. Menu has something for everyone. Highly recommend!
