Had the breakfast bagels (campfire and champion) on route to camping. They were great! The fillings were delicious, including the sauce, egg, and bacon. However, I would definitely ask them to double toast the bagel, as they were a little too doughy. Other than that, I will gladly return!
Finest ingredients. This quaint looking "pub", pleasantly surprised us. They had a wide selection of beers and a menu that was creative. We tried their Muskoka Pizza & Tofu burger. Both were delicious! We felt the pride in their food and service.
A gorgeous gem just off of the 400.
Coffee. Treats. Breakfast & Lunch Options. And a whole amazing array of cool travel mugs. Coffee mugs with great graphics. T-shirts & on & on it goes. Oh & warm, fantastic staff.
Super cute staff, very informative and friendly.
Ordered a fresh raspberry scone, still warm from the oven, perfectly fluffy and not too sweet.
And an oat milk chai latte, although not too impressed with the chai flavour being less prominent to the oat milk. So I opted for a black coffee with a touch of macadamia milk and some honey instead, pretty good.
Although, I will admit coffee doesn't taste that great with alternative milks. To me, the ratio of coffee to milk substitute usually makes the flavour taste unlike coffee. I needed to remake the coffee when I got back home.
The smokey sandwich ordered is appropriately balanced, caramelized onion, pickle, with some sort of slaw and the right amount of pulled chicken. Pulled chicken is a very satisfying texture. Overall 10 out of 10 for the sandwich. And 11 out of 10 for service. The ambiance is quaint and very much like a cabin general store with a bunch of handmade goods ranging from candles, to honey, to mustards and deserts.
Would definitely return.
This place is a great little lunch spot. We visited after a hike and ordered a sandwich with coffee. All was fantastic with great selection of sandwiches, bagels and pizzas with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.
The patio out front was awesome to just sit in the sun and even had Muskoka chairs, blankets and a fire pit for cooler days/evenings. Definitely a country cabin vibe!
It’s now our go to food spot for hikes in the area!
