We visited the Smokehouse and had dinner with a good sized group and have to say this place is a must try. The owner was super friendly, and the food was some of the best smoked food i've had. Our table ordered a bunch of everything. Everything was top notch brisket, Pulled Pork Taco's, Pulled Pork Potato Skins, Boneless Chicken, Fries, Deep Fried Pickles, Mac and Cheese, Ribs Not to mention craft beers on tap. Do yourself a favour and try this place.
Also the owner mentioned they are offering a Free Christmas dinner with all the fixings on December 25th for those in need or without family. Very Cool!
This place is phenomenal!! The BBQ is the best around and the combination of old school with big infusion of new flav's is a perfect combo. I highly recommend this place, wait staff is always friendly and Adam the owner is a totally great guy with a passion for good, soul satisfying food!!
After a visit to Old Flame Brewing in Port Perry, a friend and I took a walk over to the Port Perry Smokehouse. I've heard so many good things, it was a must! The large parking lot leads to the smokehouse. There is a cozy dining area as well as a large patio. . My friend and I grabbed a booth and began staring down the menu. Not only was their food menu tantalizing, their beer menu was also stellar. Lots of local flavour to choose from. We both got the Hop City's 8th Sin Black Lager. That's a glass full of malty goodness right there.
I had the pulled pork on a bun with a side of onion rings, and the serving size is huge! The pork was very tender and juicy, and you could taste the great smoke flavour. I only wish the BBQ sauce was a little sweeter, and that the onion rings were more crisp- they were a bit soggy so I didn't finish them all.
