Delicious. Food is always very well prepared. The menu has an option for everyone. Also are always happy to cater to specific dietary needs. Great atmosphere and service as well. Will definitely be back!
Popular place--make sure you book ahead for Fri., Sat. or Sun. nights. Good food and service. Only negative is that in the small room off of the main dining area, the acoustics are terrible. The noise in that area makes conversation almost impossible. Ask for a table in the larger main dining area, as I have never experienced the problem there.
Atmosphere is great, gives you a perfect amount of Delicious food, service is spot on, never seen or tasted a flaw there
The food was amazing; I had schnitzel, my wife had the haddock. Service and atmosphere are nice, but stay away from the WATER! Four of us dined, and my wife and I were the only ones to drink the water. That evening we both had Montezuma's Revenge, and we weren't even in Mexico! If you do want water, be sure to ask for bottled water. Other than that, it was a good dining experience.
Delicious portions. Quality is excellent. Homemade Banana ice cream is so yummy!!
Simply wonderful. Everything is good. The desserts such as the Chocolate fondue range for excellent to superb, so save room. I really should give Andre's a bad review. Last time I was up I couldn't get a reservation!
Having been going since they first opened in the late 80's/early 90's? My father and I used to go in there when we were building a cottage during the off season and we had the place all to ourselves. Those were the days. Hello from the Dixon's!
When in Port Elgin be sure to enjoy a meal at Andre's! Thier Whitefish is amazing along with superb appetizers and desserts.
The service staff are friendly and very hospitable. It's a pleasure not being rushed out during a leisurely dining experience.

chef owner restaurant which won't disappoint. Snitzels are served six different ways. I had the Port Elgin. Fresh Bernaise came on the asparagus. I haven't had that in a restaurant in a very long time. The Crème Brülée was perfect.
Simple and classy atmosphere. Came early on a Saturday and were accommodating. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious! Would highly recommend!
Everything that came to our table was attractive, fresh and tasty. Can't wait to work through the whole menu. Great service, too.
Had a great meal from the initial Caesar salad shared to the schnitzel to the dessert was fabulous. We have been there many times and consider it the best restaurant in Saugeen Shores
Amazing! The inside is lovely and the food is beautiful, 4 of us went for dinner and every single dish we ordered was delicious, especially the curried shrimp and schnitzel!!
