Daughter purchased offerings from both the bakery, and deli recently, to take for us to enjoy during an early-December, 3-night stay in Harrison Hot Springs.  And ‘wow’, we sure did!!    

- from the bakery — their fruit cake — for me, about as “homemade” good as I have tasted for a very long while  — dark, moist, and flavourful.  And a big ‘yeah’ for not being overly sweet!!  A tasty, much enjoyed treat during several afternoon and evening ‘moments’ during our stay.

- from the deli —  sausage ring (garlic/Ukrainian), frankfurters, liverwurst, and sliced chicken loaf.  Some very well-prepared, flavourful, and good tasting deli stuff, that was much-enjoyed during ’in-room’ lunch snacks, and such.

Some very well-prepared foods, and much-enjoyed tastes.  Looking forward to another visit soon.

• freshly baked goodies, name it, they got everything! from breads, buns, pastries, pot pies, pasties, cinnamon bun, cakes, etc!
• offers specials so check it out: Deli is good, a lot of people come here for this! Served hot and fresh. To go only, they don't have seating area
• So once you enter the shop, take a number from the red machine. The ladies will call out the number and will take your order accordingly, so know what to order beforehand
• I would suggest the place to get organize better.
1. Put a big sign by the door saying pick a number here
2. OR a line up would be good then delegate a person to either work on the deli and another one who'll take the pastries and breads
3. Reorganize the set up because breads are in the middle. A U shaped shop would be functional for everyone working there
• Nata: its good, creamy and really tasty. I find it sweeter than its supposed to be but 1 piece is good enough. For a $1.15/piece you won't go wrong. Good to bring to a party or potluck for a nice sweet treat
• Copenhagen: I've been looking for this for years since they discontinue it from Ikea! The flaky crust, good mixture of raisins and cinnamon plus the vanilla pudding around it = delight!!! I would order this again but I have to share it, sweet and big serving (for me)
• Deli sandwiches: panini style with freshly shaved meat and cheese + shredded lettuce, tomato = awesomeness!
