What a wonderful find North 'O 7!!!
A treasure nestled in home town Plevna
Stop in and you'll feel right at home...
From the welcoming and warm owner/baker/cook, Nuala... to her delish dishes and tasty treats, (OH! and the amazing cup of java!) you'll be so glad you did!
The cozy atmosphere of home brings back fond memories of Plevna of old.
Thank you Nuala for creating such a gathering place for all to enjoy...
WELL worth the country drive to visit!
Sorry we didn't venture in sooner!
A great place to go if you're looking for delicious, homemade foods, a friendly atmosphere and great conversation. I highly recommend it.
Every essence of a small-town charm can be found here. Nuala makes mouth watering breakfast, lunch, and fresh baked goods daily. She offers frozen meals and entrees hand made perfect for a night off cooking at the cottage. There is an art store run by two artists Bob and Jim in the rear of the store. They sell folk art, paintings, and handmade jewelry come and check it out! Come grab a coffee and stop by 😊
What a great little bakery! You gotta get there quick though because they sell out fast. Everything we bought was absolutely delicious and the staff are super nice.
The food here is so good and made with so much love. Never had a bad bite. So lucky to have such a lovely spot in our small community.
Cash only.
The food and coffee are amazing!! Friendly atmosphere and staff, highly recommend!
Beautiful little spot. So cozy and the food is great. Owner is super friendly as well!
Everyone must stop here when the venture through Plevna. Great pastries and an amazing Peamail bacon sandwich.
We enjoyed a mini pizza, a peameal bacon sandwich, and a wrap, which were all very tasty. The bakery products were in high demand and most were sold out before we could order, but we got some jalapeno scones that were good. We will return when we are back in the area.
An oasis after a long drive from Ottawa. Good coffee, delicious food and pastries and a lovely comfortable place to sit.
We went out of our way to try this place and it did not disappoint! The jalepeño cheddar scones were delicious along with everything else we got (selection of pastries). The bread was fresh and tasty. There are frozen goods available as well. Our only wish is that staff wears a mask - despite there being a mandatory face covering sign for customers it would be nice if staff do the same (common courtesy 18 months into a pandemic). Stay safe please!
Such an amazing place. The owner is generous and also a great cook. Catch her dinners on Friday if your lucky to get some before the locals do!
The eating area outside is quaint but inside is even more beautifully decorated with local art. We are eager to go back for the jalapeno scones and the cinnamon buns :)
