Delicious food, and attentive, efficient staff. The portions are satisfying but not overfilling. I would say they're a bit on the small side as compared to other restaurants. My companions and I have been pleased with our food every time we've been here. They were also great in accommodating a child guest with an off-menu grilled cheese.

Had a high tea baby shower for my niece today at The Pin. Regular service ends at 1:30pm and then the space is available for events. We were a group of 12 and the way we were accommodated was amazing (a gift table was set up for us and extra space was cleared for party favours). From the time we were greeted to the end of the event, the service was absolutely amazing! The place settings are beautiful and parade of food coming out was an event in itself (very plentiful). A selection of delicious sandwiches, cakes, scones, tarts and quiche. This was my first high tea and it was a wonderful experience. I can’t say enough good things about The Pin. Don’t hesitate to book an event or a table. 5 stars for sure!

Went for brunch with friends so we could check out the location for a wedding shower event. We each ordered something different and everyone was very happy with their meal. Beautiful presentation. Wonderfully delicious. Reasonably priced. Server was friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Not only did we decide to book the venue for the shower, we decided we would need to check this place out on a regular basis. Would very happily recommend this restaurant for brunch, and I can't help but assume that dinner and high tea will also be scrumptious. I'll let you know. 😉

I chose The Pin for my birthday lunch and I’m so glad I did. It was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the beef bourguignon which I’d never had before. The flavours were incredible and the portion was generous. We all loved our waiter and we met the owner who was incredibly friendly as well. The atmosphere is very nice and the menu has many delicious looking options. I have to say that this is my new favourite restaurant. I can’t wait to return!

We had the most delicious lunch I’ve had in a long time. Strawberries and chicken on a crepe was a creative and delicious combination. Everything about this restaurant is wonderful.

My friend raved about “The Pin” for months! I finally got the opportunity to eat here tonight. I started off with the Caesar salad. The bacon jam was mind blowing! Complemented the flavours of the salad perfectly. There were so many layers of flavour adding so many dimensions and putting a modern spin on an old classic. The steak with red wine butter, roasted veg and potatoes was cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Once again, there was perfectly layered flavours that made my taste buds jump for joy. It ranks up there with some of the best steaks I have ever had! I finished with a cheesecake (gluten free) that was the perfect way to finish this meal. My friends had the duck Wellington and stuffed chicken. Everyone was extremely pleased with their meal. Our server was very friendly, personable and very attentive. He made our dining experience delightful! If you are looking for a wonderful evening out and awesome food I highly recommend the pin!

It's fine, had a decent lunch but it was definitely overpriced. It was my frist time there and perhaps my hops had been inflated. The food was fine, atmosphere was meh (wallpaper doesnt help) and the tea biscuits had been frozen. Apparently the tone was very different than what once was.

I loved having my 62nd birthday with my daughter at your tea room. The cranberry orange pot of tea was delicious and having a 3 minute timer on our table was so cute. My lounge chair with 2 pillows felt like home . Our meal was fresh and big. Only regret was taking one of many many desserts home Thanks to the cook and staff to make my birthday really different. Also the heart shaped gingerbread cookie was a sweet bonus with our tea.

A wonderful little gem! Delicious food, well presented, good service, pleasant atmosphere. So glad they had a table for us without a reservation, as we were just driving through and found it through Google. It was a busy place with every table filled, and with good reason- a great place for a terrific lunch! If we are in the area we will certainly make a point of going back.

I have been to The Pin for lunch three times and tea once, and every time both the food and service are excellent! I cannot recommend this Peterborough gem highly enough!

As wedding caterers, they were fantastic! Customized our menu based on our theme and budget, and the food was excellent! Nick and Natalie are lovely to work with, very accommodating and enthusiastic for your special day. They even added costume pieces to their outfits to fit in to our costume ball, and assisted in filling our candy and popcorn stations even though it was not part of their duties!! Can't say enough good things!!

The Magic Rolling Pin catered the desserts at my February 2017 wedding and we were absolutely thrilled with the incredible food and wonderful customer service throughout the entire process. I can't recommend them enough. Thankfully there were leftovers and we got to enjoy pie and treats for a few days after the wedding. YUM! Thanks again and again! :)

Outstanding and creative presentation. Three meals at our table. Some of the food was a bit dry. Lots of potential but food needs to be served at its peak. Will probably give it another try.

I go here every time I'm back in my home town with my mom! We love it! The atmosphere is so original and warm! Excellent tea menu, food is made fresh and out of this world and the service is amazing. My favourite place!

Not as good as my last visit, the soup was cold and my sandwich was damp.

I had the chicken chiabata and carrot/sweet potato/curry soup. Heaven.

It was very nice but I feel the scones should be larger.

I went there today with my mom and aunt. The food was AMAZING!!!. I had Roasted Portabella Sandwich with salad and scones mmmmm. Really a place you should check out and I would love to go for high tea next time. The owners were amazing hosts and I loved the atmosphere.
