I wanted to play pool with my 13yr old son. It is 19yrs+ starting at 8/9pm. We arrived just before 6pm and got a table no problem.
We played about 5 games of pool. We ordered chicken wings- FANTASTIC. Great service. Great place for a kid to see many ppl's different pool techniques. Mix of single players, pros or groups of 5-10. Great experience.
Great place to play pool. All levels. Single ppl atta table honing their skills, 2 guys who brought their own cues..groups of 5 or 2 p... or like me- a mom & her son playing pool before the 19yrs+ hours begin. 90minutes of playing pool and teaching my son. Fantastic chicken wings. Excellent service.
Great experience. Emailed asking if children are allowed and had no issues bringing my 2 year old son in, who also had a fun time.

The pool is cheap, and tables are clean and well maintained.

Huge pool hall with both snooker tables and pool tables. Abundance of parkings out front. Close to LRT at 5 min walk.
Facade is small but intérieur is very long and large space. Bar is located to the front, gated from the pool tables.
Great for pool or snooker enthusiasts.
Reasonably priced ( almost cheap considering post pandemic and everything is expensive ).
Good tables and cues, friendly staff and a nice selection of drinks and snack 😀

Orange Monkey hosted our company's end-of-year party, and it was a great success. We had a little under 200 people in attendance. Brian (owner) was very flexible and attentive to our requests –including making space for our DJ booth (pictured), allowing us to decorate the venue, and making space for our own catering. The bar was well stocked, the staff were quick and attentive, and the space itself is a great size. A hidden gem in Ottawa! Looking forward to using the space for future corporate parties.
We held a work event at the Orange Monkey this week and had a fabulous time playing pool! Brian was such a breeze to coordinate with! He set us up with a great caesar salad and pizza buffet, had tables set up for us to eat at with plenty of napkins, cutlery and plates available. The food was tasty and well prepared (it really surpassed my expectations quite thoroughly). Service at the bar was also excellent - very quick and friendly. Over the years, I have coordinated many events and this was one of the easiest, least stressful to arrange and such a great value! Thank you to Brian and team for making our event so enjoyable - we highly recommend the Orange Monkey to anyone considering it for an event or visit!
Great place to hangout and play pool. They have a good selection of alcohol and foods, but not too sure if i would go there solely for the food. Its also very fairly priced at about $8 per hour, and less if you have more than 2 people. Overall, a great place and I highly recommend.
Super fun pool bar. Great way to relax after a night of axe throwing next door. Good service and friendly staff!
I hosted a charity event here at the end of March and the owner was awesome. He was extremely friendly and accommodating, donating more pool tables than requested. It is a great spot for any get together or event!
