I thought of trying something different yet similar to Indian. Since this is Sri Larkin place I gave it a shot. See photos. We ordered Chicken Biryani (my fav dish of all time) wondering how it would taste and their Thali to try a variety of things.
The Biryani was different and ok. The egg plant, beef, cabbage, pea, spinach and beets were great (I would replace the chickpea next time).
Note: if you are not into too much of hot-spicy becardul with the red Beet ;)
Give it a shot.
We were a group of 19 and decided on the group menu. For $25 per person you get a set menu of appetizers, mains and side dishes - unlimited! The food kept coming.. until you tell them to stop. Every dish was something new and unique. Delicious! We all left incredibly full. We were served up to at least 6 different appetizers, mains side dishes. The staff are friendly and work hard. We were all impressed. Definitely planning to return.
Service is great, nice staff who made some good recommendations. Food was tasty and fairly traditional. I would recommend you ask them for suggestions of what goes together well if it is your first time eating there. Atmosphere was nice; it is a converted house. Will definitely be back.
