I really like coming here. I've had the Chickpea Curry (really mild) and the Strawberry Fields Smoothie. What I really like is that they are both delicious in addition to good for you. They are "health food" without a health food taste.
Great staff excellent food always stop for recovery smoothie after cycling in the Gatineau Park. Highly recommend, lots of smiles there.
I can't seem to find one thing that I don't like about this restaurant. I have been a customer four almost 5 years and every time I go it is when I am "on the go". I can't imagine a better place to eat out instead of all that other stuff called food (although don't take me wrong, I like my wings and beer on occasion). I am about to follow one of their detox programs and this will be my next experience with them and can't wait.
The veggie kraut sandwich with sunflower pate is great on a hot summers day when you want to eat something light. The dahl served with quinoa is also tasty. Given the freshness and amount of time it takes to prepare all of the vegetables, the prices are understandable. I just wish there was more variety though, like more daily or weekend specials.
Amazing raw desserts! Got 2 kinds of raw cake (mint chocolate cheezecake and carrot cake) and a raw almond butter cup. I wasn't really a big fan of the carrot cake, something about the taste and texture just wasn't for me, it really just tasted like wet shredded carrots with a tiny pinch of spices added, nothing that I care to eat again. The other two desserts were AMAZING though, very rich and delicious, although pretty pricey. I believe the cakes were somewhere around $7.50 for a small slice? I love that they are making healthy vegan food more accessible, though, and I wish them all the best! I can't wait to try some of their lunch options!

Great food...cold attitude. Go in often enough. really enjoy the raw shakes. the food is great too!! I always feel like the servers are turning their backs to the customers though.

amazing, healthy, organic fresh, there is not one bad or unappealing dish. everything is massively healthy and phenomenally tasteful to your tongue's buds.
Tremendously tasty. I have tried almost everything here the carrot linguini pad Thai salad taco salad etc ..the macaroons and smoothies. I have never had such simple
yet delicious vegetable AND raw foods! The owner should be proud as her flavour palate is excellent, that being said my only issue with this wonderful
addition to Ottawa is the price point for example the macaroons are $3 each and are a mini ice cream scoop size, they are good but equally good are the
same items sold at a natural market for a fraction of the price. All of the smoothies could use a price reduction as well.
As a vegan who tries to eat gluten free, I love the convenience of Simply Raw Express! I know I can order anything they have and feel satisfied. Some people consider the prices a little high, but for the quality of food you receive the price is reasonable. My fav is the curried kale salad, or anything with cashew dressing. Yum!
The only complaint I have is that I live too far away. The food at SImply Raw Express is always tasty and you know that it's good for you. The desserts look and taste amazing! Love the chai "tapioca pudding".

I picked up one of their Nourish Boxes. It was so good I ordered another for the following day. Very fresh and tasty! Great staff as well.
We went there for the first time and everything was good. I took a veggie soup, a hot plate (chickpeas, quinoa, curry and coconut), and a power ball for dessert. It was so tasty! I will come back for sure. There are a lot of healthy food, which can be suitable to all kind of person. The personal was very kind.
The only little reproach is that we got cold while eating there.
There are a couple of tables but this place is mostly geared towards take out. Lots of delicious options, and especially good if you are on your way somewhere or pressed for time. Sandwiches, smoothies, and some interesting dessert options. While you are there also check out Nu grocery store, a bring your own container concept with some delicious options like dairy free coconut based yogurt.
They turned bad day into a good day 😀. Let me start by saying I'm not vegan, and I came in because the business I came into town didn't open when they said they should, so I was cold with no where to go. I saw Simply Raw across the street and thought I'd check it out. I do eat mostly paleo, but I was impressed with their vegan selection, and was surprised how good the food tasted. I was in a bad mood when I walked in, and the friendly staff had me walking out with a smile. Have to say I really liked this little place.
Simply delicious food for anyone. Careful... You'll want to eat more. Raw and so healthy.... Clean, well presented and friendly staff. Priced well for such high quality ingredients. 👍😆
Delicious vegan resto! I had the soup and faux egg sandwich. It was all very homey and cozy. I would definitely recommend!
The place is small but they never disappoint with their food. The food is very delicious. Their desert option is very rich. I love their food.
