This is a great little local coffee shop that roasts their own beans. There is free wifi, wonderful local art displayed and home made sandwiches for lunch and breakfast available as well if you're looking for a nice light meal with your drink of choice. Lots of seating in a comfortable atmosphere. The owners are amazing people too and passionate about quality food and drinks.
Good coffee in a warm, not too noisy place that is spacious compared to other coffee spots in the Byward market area.
Yummy coffee and such a genuinely warm server who helped me decide what to order! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to start their day on a good note☕️
This is a cozy little (big) cafe. It has a really nice atmosphere with lots of import of beans type decor including a huge bean processor type machine. The coffee I had was lovely, and o also tried the chocolate and oat cookie which tasted as good as it looked. It didn’t seem to get too busy which was nice and the staff are absolutely people.
The space they have is huge for a coffee shop. Great for studying as it's much quieter and less crowded than a Starbucks and of course the coffee is good too.
I love this place - seriously, I come here once a week. Awesome baristas, great music, and it's very rarely too crowded. This is my favourite study spot!
The coffee itself is lovely - both the roast as well as the espresso. Every drink I've ordered is delicious.
The sandwiches and salads are tasty too, I definitely recommend the chili as well!
10/10 coffee shop. Definitely give it a try and support a small, local business :)
I came here with a friend, around 7:00. Unfortunately, since our visit was so late, they had run out of almost everything. I felt like having a pastry but all they hadn't was a lonely dry croissant. Instead, I opted for a little breakfast sandwich( similar to a Egg McMuffin) and my friend got a small portion of potato salad. I enjoyed my sandwich but I found it a little on the dry side. However, my coffee was splendid.
Nice location, not the most friendly service but good prices overall.
Came here for an afternoon Latte, and I was actually quite impressed. It wasn't terribly busy. The barista was quite friendly. The beans they used were quite fresh and flavourful. I would actually go there and just buy their beans to make coffee at home.
I'd recommend it as a good, small, independent coffee shop.
Yum!. Great coffee.. Nice find. Not too far of a walk from any of the downtown market hotels. Funky little place too!
Beautiful, quiet place. Nothing crazy, good coffee, some snack and not expensive :)
Spacious and clean place with relaxing atmosphere. Loved their vege chilli soup. Sandwiches are also good. Large windows and wifi is available. Coffee is not too bad.
Coffee is of course good, but I like this place for other reasons. Pic doesn’t do it justice— the avocado chicken panini is delicious— great hibiscus iced tea as well. Quiet casual atmosphere and great service— I really enjoyed my visit
Great coffee shop real authentic coffee shop vibes and seating. The coffee it self was very well priced and taste great. Customer service was nothing but friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go out of my way to stop and have a coffee here again. Bonus points for the empty coffee sacks on the walls from around the world giving you a feel for where in the world your coffee comes from.
Bluebird Coffee is literally a couple of minutes away from our AirBnB stay in Ottawa.
The best coffee so far in Canada. Roasted on the premises. Their homemade muffins are also highly recommended.
The coffee at this establishment would very much appeal to the coffee afficionados in Wellington, New Zealand
super friendly staff. and the drinks are really good. I had a chai latte and the size was perfect as well as the flavor. It is concurred but always has a space for you, also they have like a sandwich and baguette menu, the only thing they're missing is a dessert.
The coffee and sandwiches are good. The vibe is warm and inviting. The staff is nice. The only thing is that when they get busy they have a tendency to forget orders. This morning they made my latte and forgot my sandwich and when my friend arrived they made her hot chocolate and gave it to someone else and forgot to make the second one. Just keep an eye on your order because if you get lost in conversation, they're not keeping track for you.
The coffee is terrible. "Artisanal"? Please. The space itself is really nice - bright, open, cozy, relatively clean. The food isn't bad. Overall it's a great place to relax, study, or have a quick meeting, but don't believe the coffee hype.
