Bar Lupulus is by far one of the best restaurants in Ottawa. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly, and the food is AMAZING. They definitely serve the best charcuterie in the area. Bar Lupulus was nice. The server was the sweetest and helpful, and the restaurant had a nice setting.
The cocktail was suggested by the server which suited my taste very well.
I would have to say their Large Plate is not so large - to keep in mind for future visitors! It was delicious nonetheless!
Enjoyed everything about this meal. Service was good, but the food would bring me back. We enjoyed the beverages and the variety of beers. The short rib in particular was incredible. The dessert was just okay, as was the crab dish. But the duck starter was exceptional.
I have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile and was not disappointed. Excellent cocktail, they also had a very extensive tap list. Everything we ate was delicious! Good date night! We will definitely be returning.
We were looking for a spot that decided to keep vaccination requirements, and found Bar Lupulus. I have been meaning to try it, and can't explain how happy I am that we finally did.
