Great atmosphere! Cozy and intimate, yet welcoming. Very clean, with covid protocols well in place. Love the scheduled seatings for dinner, very organized and the staff work like clockwork.
Food was so delicious, with substantial portions! Staff were all so pleasant and welcoming. Definitely recommend and definitely will be returning.

The octopus is a must in this place! Real authentic food. Food never disappoints here. Music and fun vibes in this place is an experience you won’t find in Ottawa generally. You should expect to wait for sometime here to get your food. The chef is talented. Real excellent food and quality. It’s a small place with rich vibes. The owners are very social and hospitable. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Rico is precise with his advice when it comes to the dishes and drinks, everything he suggested was worth trying. The owner offered everyone in the place a free drink on the house which was generous! It’s my new favourite spot in Ottawa.

Excellent restaurant serving Portuguese food, many dishes of fish and seafood. I had a grilled octopus dish which was very good served with potatoes, rice, vegetables and interesting sauces. Menu is quite generous and also offers lunch options. Wines are very affordable. Service is also very good. Plenty of parking. This restaurant is one of the better options for the Orléans area.

You know it’s amazing when the grilled calamari is amazingly nicely charred and tender, and not frozen chewy and micro sized. It’s REAL!!

Fantastic fantastic fantastic food.
I was definitely worried about the price Vs portion amount, but I was very pleasantly surprised that the portion sizes was large and very much worth every penny.
The business owner was very nice and took care of us expertly, this restaurant is definitely built with a strong foundation of love and care! Thank you Mr Fernando.
Will definitely be visiting again and I recommend it to everyone reading this!

I ordered a paella for my partner’s birthday and I can’t believe how amazing it was! The portions were so generous and the flavour was amazing.
They took such extra care to wrap it up for us, since it was -17 that night. When we got home it was piping hot and absolutely perfect!

The Cataplana is the best seafood dish I’ve ever had! Such a hearty bowl filled with jumbo prawn, lobster, mussels, clams, grilled octopus, some tasty fish, and the best seafood authentic broth filled with flavours! Definitely a new favourite spot in Orleans.

Food was really good. Lunch came with nice buns and flavoured butter and with soup to start. Both the Portuguese and Chicken Noodle soups were really good. I ordered the chicken salad. The chicken is very tasty and moist, veggies were fresh and crispy and portion was a good size. Only thing I would do different was dressing the salad. Oil and vinegar dispensers were brought to the table to do yourself. My preference would have been to have that as an option or have it pre-tossed in a house dressing so I didn't have to worry about getting the balance between oil and vinegar right myself! However, this is simply a preference. I would definitely order the salad again. Service was friendly and attentive. Nice addition to Orleans where we find there is a shortage of good restaurants. Although they are quite new, it is becoming really popular and reservations are recommended for dinner.

Went july 5th 2019 for dinner. Food was average but service is the reason behind the 1 star.<br/>Service is amazing with the people they know but our experience was totally different, the server didnt smile once, he was dealing with us as if we forced him to.<br/>After our uncomfortable dinner experience; my wife called back to give the owner (the lady) some feedback and as soon as my wife mentionned that the service wasnt the greatest, the owner interrupted her and said ok, perfect thanks and hang up.<br/>Completely unprofessional and there is nothing worse than trying to avoid to hear the criticisn

Excellent. I think it’s maybe the best Portuguese place in Ottawa. Don’t go for the fast food Piri Piri chicken options that are around here. This chicken was absolutely juicy and tasty. The skin was crispy and full of flavour. The sauces were incredible as was the nice vinho verde! Sausage appetizer was super and of course anything with seafood is a winner here. Coffee needs a bit of fixing but the desserts were super.

I unfortunately didn’t have a lot of options as I don’t eat fish. I do eat mussels and they were ok/good. The chicken was average. It’s not a place I would go to simply because of the limited menu. Otherwise modern and clean decor. Kind of romantic also.

The meal started with bread and a nice, flavoured butter. I had the steak (came with an egg on top) which wasn't bad (nothing spectacular) and fries (no dipping sauce, not even ketchup). My partner had the shrimp dish which he liked. The whole experience was sort of a shrug. Service was slow.

<br/>Underwhelming experience and food. I ordered a seafood stew dish for $30. The shrimp hadn't been peeled so I burnt my fingers digging it out of the stew to peel it. Also no appropriate cutlery was provided for pulling meat out of the lobster piece so again, I just dug in there with my hands. Taste was good but I wouldn't pay $30 for it again as I felt it was something I could have easily made at home. The bread basket was the best part of the meal. Wait staff was polite but service a little slow. The place was empty at 5pm on a Saturday night in suburbia and by 6pm only a third of the tables were filled. This restaurant will have to step up their game if they don't want to fold.
