Excellent service and great breakfast food. I had Eggs Benedict/smoked ham with fried potatoes I had a good visit with new and old friends. Made a new friend with the nice mature gentleman with the grey beard who may have been the manager or owner.
Portions are small, I ordered Bangers and Mash, I had 1 cut up sausage, spread around plate with just Mash and gravy, it's not a french cuisine restaurant!!

Great place for a good meal at a decent price. If you're in the area, stop by and try the deep fried mac and cheese balls. One of the best things I've ever eaten.

I like the set up and the kilts. Miss the toy train that used to circle along the ceiling track. Well priced weekend brunch with a big mug of coffee thrown in. Had the egg Benny one week and the Belgian waffles the next week. Both underwhelmed. But great service.
Selection, thats what sets this bar apart from the mass bombardment of generic bars that litter the elgin bar scene. Prices are okay, little overpriced for the product you are getting specially when you compare it to the drinking scene as a big picture.
