An outstanding place for tacos or burgers. The tacos are affordable, full of flavor and huge, two tacos are perfect for a lunch or dinner. They also carry a variety of craft beer and mix some delicious cocktails. A true gem in Orleans.
Been here a few times after they opened! I somehow still prefer the old one on St. Jospeh. The burgers here are one of the best I've tried in Ottawa. Their buns are incredible and the bacon here is unique and a must have! I didn't like their poutine it was too heavy! Their fish tacos are one of kind and they are known for them! Ordered them twice and loved it each time! Definitely recommend this place.
Fantastic food! The best tacos I have had in a long time. The sauces were amazing- tacos and chips. Oh and the donut. Freshly made delicious!!! I agree with the comments of the atmosphere. Also, the dust on the old teppanyaki wasn't really appealing.
My favorite dinning spot in Orleans. The food is always fresh and there are so many great choices thats it usually takes me a while to decide what I want. They have the best fish and chips and fish tacos in the city and they have a great selection mixed drinks as well. If you're in the Orleans area, I highly recommend this place.
We've been twice in the last few months and the food is decent. We've tried the tacos and a couple of the burgers and nothing was ever not good, but nothing was ever great.
They always seem to have a lot of people on the floor, which makes the fairly indifferent service a little perplexing.

Unique to Orleans, Occo Kitchen prides itself on local and hand-made ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised by how great this place was - I thought it would be another average eatery, but as it turns out, Occo offers the average "Canadian" food, with a gourmet twist that is not too expensive. The St. Jo's poutine is fabulous - the dill and the crunchy flakes they add (not sure what it's called), give it an interesting texture and taste. The burger was also great - I love the herbs and spices they use for the fries, however my only complaint is that they burned the bacon a bit on my burger. The food comes out extremely fast and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Would love to come back.

Burgers are great. Taco are good; textures and flavours are fresh and bright. For $5 you get a lot of taco. Not refined but perfectly fine.
Have loved OCCO from the beginning and was thrilled when they opened a big restaurant on Innis. Have NOT been disappointed. The food continues to be exceptional and the service has been great. Went tonight with a largish party to celebrate a birthday. The staff were just fantastic and patient. The food was great. Love the Chicken Club Tacos! Can not say enough about this sorely needed oasis on the otherwise very desolate Orleans culinary landscape.
My first trip to the new Occo Kitchen location was with a large group of people. I originally intended to get one of their burgers BUT when I saw tacos on the menu, I knew resistance was futile. Got the chicken, pork and fish ones and thoroughly enjoyed them; there was such a variety of flavors going on with each, that I spent some time going over them individually to truly enjoy the experience. Despite having had a large group, I felt we were well looked after by the wait staff.
Best fish and chips around. The seafood chowder is awesome and the tacos are pure bliss! The staff are friendly and fast. Go there and eat if you haven't already!
The taco was tiny, the burgers and fish&hips were fantastic. The place is tiny, but great service.
The menu was simple, and what they do, they do really well. The burgers and fries were fresh and rival any burgers in town. It's a little pricey when it comes to ordering a take out burger, but worth every cent. I think they should open a location downtown.
I tried their cheese burger and it was really good with an authentic BBQ taste, but the bun was served kind of cold, bun would have been better warm. I tried their tacos and fries too and all was good and healthy feeling, but everything there could have used a bit more flavour. But I will definitely be going back for more because it is pretty good.
They had the most amazing soft tacos I've ever eaten. The chicken was cooked to absolute perfection. The bacon wasn't too fatty or too crisp, a perfect balance indeed. Then layered with fresh peppers and an immaculate sauce. I can't say much more other than you should definitely try it for yourself!

My son , who had a ceasar salad and a Smash burger. Loved it
and Myself. I had the Candied bacon cheese burger and fries. Loved it!

The only negative I have is that the fries were not crispy.. but that is a texture preference. the flavour was great ..I just prefer crispy Fries. So easy!......next time I will have a salad instead!

Great experience! We were a group of five that went for lunch. The food was fantastic: we all ordered something different and all loved the food quality! The staff were very polite, kind and professional.
The kitchen got a bit overwhelmed due to high business and low staffing, but the manager on duty was quick to go to each table and explain. Overall very impressed with our experience given the fact that the restaurant is in its first week!
