First things first....the service here is fantastic!!!! Now let's get to the good stuff.....this has to be in my top 2-3 favorite restaurants in Ottawa!! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! The lobster poutine was our star of the show but the lobster roll, fish and chips and clam chowder were all a very close second. If you want to know what fresh tastes like...come here. Looking forward to going back and trying all the other dishes!!! Keep up the great work!! Enjoy 😁
I really enjoy the experience today provided by pelican seafood grill! Excellent food, fabulous atmosphere and best service. Tried one of the signature and I got shocked by that crispy skin with that special lemon source. It was delicious when you had that combined within the juicy white meat. Even though the crab cake is kind of expensive if you choose to dine in instead of pick up but worth to try it. Will be my first time and won’t be my last time!

Had an amazing anniversary dinner here at Pelican! Our first time here and we were impressed all the way! Food was hot, service was A+ and atmosphere was calm & quiet.
Our dishes were wonderful, perfect portions and fresh seafood! 🐟 The only miss would be at the table we were seated at. We were next to the window and there was a cold draft. I tried to pull over the curtain to blocked it but they were foe curtains. 😕 Either way, we'll be back!!!
You absolutely need a reservation as the restaurant will fill up even on a weeknight, and I can see why. Every single dish served was delicious, for a place that's 300km from the ocean, the seafood tasted very fresh. My only nitpick is that the oysters were a bit briny without other flavours, but it's at the best price available inland. Still, I recommend this place wholeheartedly.
Getting reservation was quick and easy, got a table immediately when we arrived. Went here specifically for oysters and luckily we reached at Happy hr. Fantastic fresh oysters, first time for my wife and she loved it. Also ordered Lobster shrimp roll and fish tacos which were amazing too, presentation and service was great. A must place to visit in Ottawa.
Super fresh seafood!!! We didn't get the happy hour but had a chance to try their three different types of oysters, clam chowder, ceviche, fish taco, and fish and chips! I thought the menu was a bit pricey until I saw the serving size. Super generous portion and everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely would come back again to try other things on the menu including lobster roll and fresh whole lobster.
This is one of my go-to places for seafood! No fuss, great quality, great value, and never disappointed. Their fish and chips are amazing and I love that the fries are given as much attention as the fish.

And the market is great! Never had issue with any of the fresh seafood I purchased. I highly recommend their smoked fish (any kind!).
Great spot to get your seafood fix! The young man who helped us was very friendly and my Mom even commented on how good looking he was.

I tried a cod cake and a crab cake. Both with the horseradish dip and they were both very good. I preferred the cod cake myself. Next time I’ll grab a seat for a dozen oysters 🦪
