The food was delicious, fast, generous and well priced. A variety of actually hot sauces which made me break out into sweats. Lots of cheese and meat on the nachos and the quesadillas were excellent.
This, along with bottega, are definitely the gems of Ottawa. Inexpensive ($10 for a full burrito, $7 for a full salad), great portions, and amazing sauces. This restaurant is ran authentically and has been a favourite of mine for 2 years now.
I usually get the burrito, although occasionally I get the salad. The burrito is always stuffed with toppings, and a good amount of meat is always put in.
The sauces are what truly make this place special. Having a huge variety of sauces with varying levels of spicyness, all delicious, with every bite is a treat. I would recommend this place for fast, relatively cheap eats.
Best service there is in Ottawa. Best burrito you'll find anywhere. 10/10. 100% recommend to anyone visiting Ottawa or that lives here. They have the most amazing food and sauces. It is my favourite place to eat and they are so friendly.
Reasonably priced and flavourful authentic food. Loved the variety of hot sauces available too. Definitely lived up to the hype and I will go back.
Fantastic and quick Mexican food in the market. There isn't much seating, but we took ours to eat in nearby Major Hill's Park and it was great!
Great spot with limited seating for street-style tacos, burritos and nachos. Wonderful fresh ingredients and authentic flavours. Only a few tables and bar area for a lucky few who get to eat here.
Very friendly service and great food. I had a burrito which had quite a unique flavor, very authentic. The atmosphere was very fun and made for a general enjoyable experience. Would return.
Made to order delicious authentic Mexican food in the heart of the ByWard Market. Always on top of my list when looking for a quick satisfying bite to eat. Must try the spicy cilantro sauce. Fresh, vibrante with a kick. What a great little Mexican gem.
Absolutely delicious. So delicious I'm writing this review right after I ate. I have been craving REAL Mexican, basic tacos for what seems like a very long time. I'm usually not a fan of corn tortillas, so when I saw that on the menu (I've included updated menu pictures) I was a little nervous. Totally unjustified. The tortilla was soft, held the tacos well. A little bit of beans on the bottom, I would rate 1. Beef, 2. Pork, 3. Chicken. And guac on the side included?! This place has my heart. The staff is incredibly friendly, and this is now my go to Mexican place. Saw a few people ordered tostadas, that will be my next thing I try!
Nice and cheap Mexican food. The small cut restaurant is in center area of byward market. Very good place to get back warm and eat spicy in cold winter
