I have been here, only twice; once with my wife. Now, Iam upgrading my mark for this restaurant. We both love Idian food, and this is now the only gig, in town for this.
We came in to find out about their lumch buffet. The food was absolutely wonderful and tasty. The woman serving us was very polite. I really can recommend the food and the buffet for only $12, per person.
The buffet is not a large one, compared with a Chinese buffets in town, but it holds plenty of really good, tasty food. I would really encourage everyone to try it.
The cleanlyness was up to standarts and better than a lot of fast food restaurants.
The water is unfortunately served in a plastic container ( I definately would prefer glass), but the taste was free of the usual chlorine. That is always an extra plus for me.
The dining room itself is small, which is not a negative thing, but the decoration, or the lack of it is not very homey and does not really invite to stay. Everything is a bit too much on the functional side. During our. second stay, the windows were all blind with condensation, which can be a bit of a deterant, from the outside.
This time, they had a working creditcard machine, which is a must in my case. The free wifi, provided in most places, is unfortunately not available. For me, free wifi is important so Ican stay in contact with work, during longer breaks; I like to read the news, while waiting; catch up on emails and I like to write feedbacks, while Iam at a place.
All together: Yes, please do give this place a chance. The positives way outweigh the bit of negative!
Definately try the fried nan bread.
Great food and friendly service. I took my mom there for an ethnic experience. She can't stand anything hot, so it wasn't really up her alley. I have eaten Indian food in Toronto and other cities and this definitely rates up there. Very tasty food and a good find in our little town.
I love going to this place, even just to talk with the staff for a short time. They are very lovely kind people and I can tell my presence in their business is truly appreciated. The food is delicious, I particularly love the vegetable samosas!!! My only critique is that the space could use some Feng Shui for a bit more flow❤️
