Good service and staff were all very friendly. They have a limited draft 🍺 selection. Food was your typical bar food. I had the burger and it was pretty good.
Great lil pub in the heart of main down town. The place we were told to go was so crowed you couldn't get near it but we found this lil gem for lunch. Service was great must have been asked 4 time if everything was ok nice local beer listing which is always a good thing for me. Both my wife and I had a different grilled cheese. Perfect for lunch and very well done very tasty. If your in orillia and looking for lunch checkout out it won't disappoint
Oh shit yea! For all those who frequent Orillia (really wish there was a "sarcasm" emoji), you may want to stop by this little gem if a joint. The service was excellent, no, I mean EXCELLENT. Food was well, bar food with a twist. Locally sources ingredients, decent presentation, did I mention the service? Now, if you expect high brow, you'll not get that here, nor are they trying, but it was well above average. No complaints really....so...umm....yea... Oh, The North in Barrie really sucks.

I had a lovely dinner at this family friendly pub in Orillia. The restaurant is a favourite of the community and is owned by the city's mayor.
Try the homemade lemonade it was very tasty. Our table had the creamy Chicken wraps and the Waldorf Turkey Burger. Both were great.
We were told we could not leave without trying the Skillet! The warm gooey cookie was an amazing end to a cool night!
Also if your not afraid of being a total tourist as the bartenders to give the beer mug carousel a whirl it's pretty cool!

Great food, friendly service. It's the kind of place you instantly feel like a regular! Great beer selection both on tap and in the bottle. Amazing Scotch list all at reasonable prices. The kitchen sink burger is unreal! As far as pubs go Brewery Bay is doing right!
We were planning to pass through Orillia at dinner time, so I used the Zomato app to look for something downtown and found Brewery Bay Food Co. Reasonably high rating, pub food, open, the word "Brewery" in the name; hit on all checkboxes.
SWMBO's Fish & Chips were done well; light beer batter with the right amount of crunch. I had the Swiss Portabello Mushroom Burger; nicely grilled, full mushroom cap and Swiss cheese atop a good burger. That and a pint each did the trick.
Their tag line is "Good grub, great pub". Almost. After we were seated we were forgotten for a few minutes. Then one of the hosts noticed and did something about it. Good for them.
Great selection on the menu and who can beat the fact that my sons drink came with at wiz let wrapped around the straw!!
Food was Good and Patio was great!. We came here for dinner and everything that came to the table was great! Eat here

A great place to go after a long drive if your looking for a late night bite. We had reviewed this restaurant on-line before deciding to go here on our second visit, prior to going to the casino.
It is definitely more of a pub, but the décor is nice but not overly new. It was clean, although the bathrooms could use some work. Another place where you have to go downstairs to get to the washroom. Our hostess who seated us decided to sit us across from the only large table of almost 20 people rather than sit us at one of the many other tables available.
Luckily our server was smart enough to ask if we wanted to sit somewhere else where it was not going to be as loud, and we were glad to have been given the option. It took us a while to decide, and the server was very patient with us after having come back a couple of times. We decided to go with a grilled cheese sandwich and instead of an appetizer got something called "Pitachos" which are kind of like nacho's, but done on baked pita chips. They were quite nice, but a little expensive for what you got. Our grilled cheese was very good, and came with a nice little relish to go along with it.
Overall, this wasn't a bad place. We would definitely go here again when we get up there late at night, but not sure it would be our "go to" place in the future. It's got some nice selections, so we could visit again and try something new next time.
