In addition... they've got a private outdoor ice rink for hotel guests, an awesome hill to go sliding on (and they've got complimentary sleds at the front desk!), riding stables for the really adventurous types, cross country ski trails, snowshoeing, and of course they've got an exceptional spa that people travel from all over for. AND, if you want to go dog sledding, they can arrange that too! Elkhorn Resort (nestled right against Riding Mountain National Park), in my opinion, is truly the ultimate winter getaway for families with kids (especially since they've opened this awesome pool!).
