Best fish and chips I've ever had! And I've been to England. The coating on the fish was so light and delicious. I'm not a big fish and chip fan because of the breaded coating, but this one was excellent. Liked the peas too.
Halibut fish was fantastic!! Lovely fresh cut chips and the homemade Key Lime cheesecake for dessert was to die for!!
On a recent road slash wine restock trip we stumbled into this place. The union jacks and 'best of' signs pulled us in. The platters with one of the best chowders and fresh, battered just right cod and halibut are not cheap but great value for what you get. Staff was great and made everyone feel like VIPs.
I have reviewed many fish and chips restaurants over the years and Auntie Ags is right at the top of the list. Nice clean restaurant and have great Cole slaw with a little fruit garnish. Nice touch.
Wow, finally had the most delicious fish & chips. Such a nice light batter. Reminds us of the good old days in Steveston, BC. thank you & will definitely be returning. Will also, be telling friends & neighbours...now that we live in the Okanagan. Thanks again, Violet

Passing through Oliver and read the great reviews on Auntie Ag’s so decided to see for ourselves. The cafe itself has a small seating area. We went for an earlier Friday supper, off season beginning of November and luckily got a table for dine in. But quickly after all tables were full. Take out was super busy as well. Can’t imagine what it would be like in peak season. The one waitress did a fantastic job with greeting guests, cleaning tables, serving and handling takeout orders. We ordered the 2 piece Haddock and 1 piece Halibut. Pricing was fair for quantity and quality received. Batter was a very light coating around the the fish which was thick, tender and moist. The coleslaw was not your typical but rather a delicate mild flavoured cabbage apple slice combo. The portion with the meal was very generous. Fries were thick and perfect with vinegar or ketchup dipping. An extra surprise on the platter was a pickle condiment with some gerkins and sweet pickle slices as well as a mini fruit condiment. They really finished off the meal nicely. We could see why people loved this place. Next time we’re in Oliver we will seek it out again!
One of the best fish & chip meals I have eaten since being on the east coast. Excellent service. Very explicit Covid-19 protocols.

Nice fish, great batter, very light and crispy. Coleslaw is uniquely made with thin sliced apples on top.
