I used to frequent Aroma all the time when I lived in Toronto - the food was always so yummy, with an amazing and unique blend of flavors. I moved to Oakville a couple of years ago and was truly disappointed when I learned we didn't have an Aroma. I was absolutely thrilled when this location opened! Not only is the food tasty and healthy as always, but the staff is so kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is super cozy. I would highly recommend this establishment if you're tied of the routine Starbucks and Tims, or looking to try something different.

FOOD:
I had ordered the Small Hot Chocolate (With Dark Chocolate) and the Greek Yogurt Danish, while my husband had ordered the Medium Cappuccino. The Small Hot Chocolate came in a white mug, which had a thin layer of milk and chocolate powder sprinkled on the top. I was told that I needed to stir it since I noticed that all of the chocolate was on the bottom of the cup. Once I had stirred it, it tasted DELICIOUS, one of the best hot chocolates that I had ever tasted! It didn't need any additional sugar as it had just the perfect amount of sweetness to it. The Greek Yogurt Danish was warmed-up (which was something I didn't expect, but was pleased to see), with a fresh taste. The pastry was flaky however, not too flaky to cause it to crumble in your mouth. Also, the cherry and yogurt filling was divine, just the perfect mix of flavourings in one handy pastry. I LOVED it, and had never tasted a danish that delicious before!

ATMOSPHERE:
We had come during the Oakville Jazz Festival therefore, it was very busy, with people walking-in constantly and waiting for their drinks at the cash. We decided to sit upstairs as it wasn't too crowded, which was a good choice as we were able to see the street below, which made for a nice view! We loved the décor, it was chic, yet comfortable. It was a small place, but felt cozy enough to stay for quite a while. Definitely more appeasing then some other coffee shops!

SERVICE:
Juliana had taken our orders, and was very kind. When we had asked to switch my husband's Medium Cappuccino to 'to go' as opposed to 'dine-in' (after we had ordered), she immediately went to tell those making the drinks about the change, then told us that the change would take place (she was very quick and precise about it, which we liked). The three individuals making the drinks behind the counter were quick, and worked VERY well with all of the customers waiting. They even told us that it would be a bit of a wait, which was quite considerate of them as that doesn't always happen at other establishments. We found the service to be exceptional, even though they were VERY busy during the time that we had gone in.

COST: 1 Small Hot Chocolate: $4.05 + 1 Medium Cappuccino: $4.05 + 1 Greek Yogurt Danish: $2.95 = $12.50 (Taxes Included)

WOULD YOU RETURN?
I found that the prices were a bit high for what we had ordered however, I did enjoy my time therefore, I would definitely give this place another try!

I was looking for a place to have a coffee with my boyfriend other Starbucks where it's always packed mostly by people taking up tables with their laptops. I recently saw Square 1 had opened one up but they close even earlier than the mall (8:30pm) which is a pretty big disappointment. I personally enjoy going for a late coffee.

We decided to go to the Oakville location which closes at 10pm and I'm really glad we did. The location is super cute. It looks like like a little house with 2 floors and a patio. The decor was really nice too. We were greeted right away by a really friendly employee. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and a alfajor (shortbread cookie sandwich with dulce de leche although this was just caramel) which I was really impressed by that they had. It's my favourite cookie ever, not the best I've had but it was fresh and really good. Our coffees also came with a few aroma milk chocolates and I also love how there is complimentary lemon water with glasses that you can help yourself to. Our cappuccinos were really delicious! Just perfect.

Overall I was really impressed. I loved the coffee and the atmosphere. I would love to come back for a cup of coffee and a light dessert where people are having conservations with one another rather than having their face stuck in a laptop. I wish they had more of these around in the Mississauga area but for now I will definitely be coming back to Oakville :)

Great food and drink options, friendly and courteous staff and reasonable prices. Would highly recommend to all.

Stellar customer service. Ordered from Uber this afternoon and a drink was forgotten. I reordered it and the lovely staff included a pastry for the mistake. This was much appreciated - you can be sure that you will be receiving amazing customer service at this location. Thank you all so much for the great food and drinks!

Delicious freshly prepped food. My gluten free bread sandwich was very tasty. Definitely a place to come back to for lunch or just a coffee.

A great variety of healthy breakfast. The coffee is good and the service is fast. I wish they have more than one high chair for those stopping by with little ones.
