Review The Works Craft Burgers & Beer - Oakville

Probably the best burgers I’ve ever had. Ordered the “Bacon You Fancy Huh?” The burger really melts in your mouth! LOVE the UNLIMITED FRIES! On top of that, it’s one of the very few restaurants to serve my favourite beer… Moosehead! The staff are very friendly and dutiful. Will definitely be going back!!

If you're looking for a great burger, head to The Works. It's a little more than your typical burger restaurant but you get what you pay for. At The Wirks, you'll get a big, juicy burger worth a lot of different toppings... my son loved the make your own milkshake and really enjoyed the banana chocolate milkshake recommended by our server. Fries were also great.

The getting piggy with it buger was really good. Every Bute tasted so good. Filled with chicken and pork would definitely go back here and recommend this place. The bottom less fries was a bonus but with the size of food you get really not needed. Drinks served in a measuring cup was unique. Waiters were very helpful in recommending products and help to customize it just way I wanted. The way they checked to see if you needed anything else as they walled by made it a good expirence.

Reached around 5:30 pm so got seated soon. The burgers are easy to eat as they are not loaded. Like the sauce and patties. The sweet potato fries were great. Loved my cocktail with lemonada and ice tea. The servers are very polite. Tons of bees aroung on the patio, which I was not bothered by. I appreciate that they did not try to kill the bees wiyh some random spray. Much appreciated! The measuring jars for glasses were unique. And paper straws are definitely appreciated.

When you want a great burger the Works is the best, you pick the meat, bun, sides...and it is hard to go wrong.

Had to wait a bit to be seated, but it was a great day for a walk. Sat outside on the patio. Server was great, explained everything and offered to bring multiple sauces for us to try. Had to wait a bit longer for our food to arrive as it was busy, and the server brought us a plate of fries on the house! Great service, delicious food, and cold beers! Definitely coming back!

You want a juicy burger with great flavours and taste? Just try this place and thank me later. On a Carnival Cruise I had Guy Fieri burgers,but this one's better, I have to confess.

Had a terrible Mothers Day experience here. My mother and I arrived during lunch rush and had to wait 20 min (which is fine - this is expected for a holiday). Once were seated, we weren’t attended to for over 10 min. Our server finally took our orders and brought us our drinks (water and pop) - however, she didn't bring our drinks in the big anchor hocking measuring glasses, she just brought them in smaller glass cups with no ice. We didn't say anything because we could see the servers were extremely stressed with the high volume of customers. We ended up waiting 1 HOUR for TWO burgers. The waitress kept coming back by our table to let us know that “it wouldn’t be much longer”. It would have been better if she had been honest about the lengthy wait time from the start. They seated us so eagerly knowing we would have had to wait for an hour for our food. They were backed up long before we arrived. That’s pretty upsetting. Unfortunately, the burgers didn't taste as amazing as they usually do. My mother and I LOVE The Works (especially this location) and we come to eat here whenever we can. The quality of food and service is always amazing. We are usually in and out within 30-40 min. Our waitress told us that the reason for the back up was that they have new trainees in the kitchen. How is that a valid excuse? It’s BURGERS for crying out loud. My dad can fry up 20 burgers on the BBQ in less than 15 minutes. How does it take over an hour to prepare two simple burgers? And why would you choose Mothers Day to train new employees? We were offered a free burger on our next visit but honestly we don’t know when we will come back. This experience left us with a bad taste in our mouth. We would have appreciated a discount/compensation for our current visit, not for a future one. We were offered some fries as we waited for our food but it would have been nice to be offered a real appetizer free of charge. To make matters worse, the “free” fries our waitress brought us weren’t even salted!
