Review Tin Cup Sports Grill - Oakville

4.4./5 - its about as good as you can get for a semi-upscale pub. Service is very polite and attentive and the food quality is well done. I can't think of many pubs in Southern Ontario that would score much higher. Good ones are always around 4.3-4.5. Tin Cup has some good sports TVs as well. Great place to catch a game or sit in the dinning area with family or on the patio. I ordered the Louisiana "Sammy" with a side soup. Sandwich was excellent, huge crunchy and moist breast, well toasted bun and sauce combination. My only complaint, the crispy breading of the chicken was a touch salty - the balance in the flavour profile was slightly off. But it was so well executed, I would consider it one more time. It really was a world class chicken sandwich. The soup was called Lemon-Thyme Chicken. The lemon and thyme were not really there, and the soup was a touch sweet. But nice ratio of vegetables to chicken to broth. They have a specific soup chef who just makes soup. I would definitely try any soup there again.

Was told about this place from a good friend. Have to driving almost 45 minutes the first tin cup we went to closed early We called this one here and their kitchen was still open so we rushed over. From the moment we walked in we were treated like loyal customers very welcoming to all the stuff very friendly. Nice sports bar with lots of memorabilia and pictures. Also lots of nice TVs to enjoy the game. I went with the nachos which they're made in house and they were fantastic. I ordered the chicken wings nice jumbo wings with pretty good sauce between my friend and I we had dusted and non-dusted go with the non-dusted they're a lot better. The sauce was good. The blue cheese was good as well. Overall a great experience at tin will definitely go back

If it was just Rosie, server extraordinaire that I was rating then its a 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️but … alas … food and ambiance /patio must be considered. I am still Working my way thru the menu … so far the Korean tacos are worth recommending… not supersized and only two in the order but they offer a slight crunch and nice spice! Patio is … ok … parking lot patio in need of design elements… Resto is a sports bar that accommodates both the local and families for dinner.

Amazing place! Friendly, helpful staff, and great food. The waitress refilled my ice tea before I had a chance to ask, cheers! I always go for the calamari duo to start, which is half fried, half grilled. But I prefer just getting it all grilled with a great garlic airline style dipping sauce. For my main this day I went with the Braised Beef Short Rib, and it didn't disappoint, smooth mashed potatoes and a reduction over top. Incredibly tender, and juicy. Will be back again and would recommend to anyone!

If anyone is looking for a great plant based burger, Tincup has it! I had the California burger from here! It was delicious! The service was fast and super friendly, our server came by many times to make sure our food was good and our waters were refilled.

Despite living in Toronto, I go out of my way to come here when I can. Partly due to the best veggie burger around and partly because of Laura. Not sure I've ever seen a woman work as hard as she does yet keep a sense of humour. If she hasn't had a raise lately, please give her one. She's your biggest asset, I think.

Food tastes great and is freshly made to order. Unfortunately just very disappointed in the portion size. Had 2 entrées and was still hungry could have eaten a 3rd, lol. Have been going here every once and while for years. Probably won't be returning now.

Pathetic. Visited one afternoon. Not too crowded - maybe 4 families. Stood by for 5 minutes to be seated. 10 minutes and no one even asked for an order. Its when we stood up to leave that there was a half hearted attempt to ask us. Would not visit again and would not recommend.

The service was attentive, the food was quite good, the menu is extensive for a sports grill with many fantastic vegan options! There are plenty of screens to watch different sports. If you are looking for a sports grill, this place is fantastic!

Visiting from Ottawa and never miss the chance to eat here! Food is delicious..... however.... so disappointed that the BLT salad, the Meatloaf and the braised beef poutine have been removed from the menu!! We will keep coming back and hope they are brought back someday!! Cheers!

Great food and the live Band was awesome. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Good job all around we went out specifically to see my good friend play.

Travelled from Ottawa to buy a car. This restaurant was close to the dealer. I'm always up to trying new eateries. Glad I did! Food was very good, and service was even better.

LOVE this place. Tin Cup combines your typical sports grill/ pub atmosphere with amazing, and quality food! A place for families, friends, dates (really anything for that matter)! Must try the boneless wings or apple walnut salad.

My family and I are regulars there. They offer great food and when there is a mistake or something is not to our liking, it is taken back without question. I would highly recommend the dip trio, jack bread, and spaghetti squash. In all the times my family and I have been there (which is quite a lot) we have never had an issue with service. Hopefully your visit will be just as enjoyable as ours have been.

Disappointing "Haddock Crunch.". My wife & I have frequented this establishment on several occasions these past years while living in Oakville. The last couple of visits have been very disappointing. The last burger I had was dry, and just yesterday I tried their "Haddock Crunch" sandwich (not cheap BTW - $17.00!!) & it was horrible. There was this over battered little piece of fish (overcooked) & too much bread. There was also a "baseball party" sitting in the centre of the restaurant taking up most of the service attention and it affected the service we received. We had to wait for over 15 minutes just to pay our bill. It was a bad experience overall and disappointing for what we used to believe was a restaurant that cared about quality.

Good Bar, Good Service, Bad Management. I have nothing but good things to say about Tin Cup in regards to the servers and the food. My issue is 100% with how this place is managed. I had spent Super Bowl Sunday there with a few friends, and after numerous drinks I paid my bill but had mistakenly put an extra 0 on my tip amount, resulting in an 80% tip (which I think we can all agree unless I'm driving a Rolls-Royce and ordering the most expensive things possible, an 80% tip may seem a little ridiculous). I called the next day and explained the situation, the manager asked me to come in "to see if something could be worked out". When I got there she showed me my bill and I agreed that it was my error, but it was quite clearly an error. She told me that there was no way of telling if it was a mistake or not and even if it was a mistake there was nothing she could do about it. The only thing she sarcastically offered was to let me talk to my bartender and ask her directly to give me my money back... hardly dealing with the situation properly in my opinion. I find this upsetting because not only did she not handle the situation properly, but why make me come in to the bar if you have no intentions of actually sorting things out? All it resulted in was making me more upset and wasting both of our time. I like the bar but I am probably never going back after how this situation was dealt with.

BAD FOOD & Service. Service was bad and order was wrong twice I gave up and left . Order chicken wings naked came out coverage in some red stuff. mild sauce on side. <br/><br/>Server took them back and 20 minutes come back - coverage in HOT SAUCE <br/><br/>Call Server over and told her wrong again. She was shock when I got up and walk out.

Good food - ok service. Calamari was delicious and huge. Got the hot wing but they weren't hot. My girl got a burger and was missing the fried onions she ordered on top. Why don't servers use a pen and paper anymore? I hate asking for something twice. Good for a beer and burger though

Came in and sat at Bar. 1030PM on a Tuesday night. 10 seconds later bartender- Mel, asked for my drink order and offered me a menu. I gladly accepted bc I was just turned away from a restaurant - Pasquale's in Downtiwn oakville on lakeshore, bc they wanted to close early. Got the buffalo wrap. It was decent. Great service. Will go back and try a burger.

Best. Nachos. Ever.

Food is great here. A pub with a real chef. Try the Chipotle Penne.
