Food was very high quality. This quality was also followed up by the good customer service. Would definitely recommend getting the sushi served in this restaurants, as it is above most sushi places. Recommendations would include anything tuna/salmon related. The tempura and the fried chicken were also astounding. If with a party of 2 go for the tempura meal

Pro's - I thought the sashimi was real good, ordered the yellowtail and scallops. There was a shockingly small choice of rolls on the menu, but the salmon/avocado and spicy scallop rolls were great. I also had some unagi to finish off the evening....also good.
Con's - The waitress didn't know anything about....the menu? Asked if there was a nice bottle of dry, cold Sake, she had to go ask the chef. I asked if there was a part of the menu missing that explained what was in each roll...she said "ask me" lol. The very few signature rolls they did offer were all tempura based. I asked her if there were any good rolls that were not fried? She offered me a tempura roll lol.
All in all, I don't think it's as high end as they advertise, but the dinner itself was quite good. It's a sushi restaurant where you come in for the everyday items...nothing fancy, nothing on the menu that is unique...etc.

I had high expectations because of the reviews but was a little disappointed. We went for lunch. The food was ok, not bad but not the best I’ve had. I think it has something to do with the plating/presentation. I’ll post pics and you be the judge.
The servers were friendly and great though!

I went thia place for my dad's birthday. Actually I went to three different sushi restuarants this week; Sushi Tei in Mississauga (spent $30 per person), Avocado Sushi in downtown Toronto (spent $22.5 per person) and MYE ( spent $71 per person). Cant choose number 1 but number 3 would be obviously MYE. I kinda had a high expectation on this place as the price was definately higher than the others. But I was so disapointed on their food..same styled salads were served twice on the 7 course menus and surprisingly no sashimi on this $60 course menu..and why serving beef steak? Should have served Sashimi...good atmosphere but average quality food.

Came here with a few friends. There was nothing that specially about the place. It was kinda hard to find because of their tiny sign. We had to make a few trips around the block until we found it. Felt like the place was overpriced
The sashimi was average nothing extremely special. Something you can find anywhere else.
The fish we ordered was good but the portion was really small. I think it was cod.
The tuna carpaccio was good but any nothing that blew my mind.
Probably will not return.

We got takeout and it was outstanding. The fish was so fresh, and tasty. The house roll was recommended, and it was fantastic. The food was ready when we picked it up, and the staff was so kind and gave us extra ginger upon request. It was so yummy, steps above all you can eat sushi. I would not go to another sushi place in Oakville ever.

Been a few times and ALWAYS a great meal, ambience, staff. A little pricey for dinner but great for lunch. Romantic spot. Could use a bit of updating, but YES, definitely a great place for some quality Japanese food!

Not the place for sushi fans...
Sashimi is not fresh. We ordered toro and scallops, they just taste so fishy... Also, the scallops are kind of dry on the surface..
So disappointed...
No appetite at all
