Best restaurant in Oakville. A hopping little gem with caring and attentive staff. Food is always fresh and of high quality and you’ll never be disappointed with your meal, they’ll always make it right. Couldn’t say enough about this place!
Amazing service, especially considering the place was packed on a Friday night. Food was amazing. Had the duck confit poutine, the beer battered deep fried cauliflower and the steak frites. Great selection of beers. Great first experience.
Went for the first time last night, and will definitely be back! Service was awesome and there's a really cool and welcoming atmosphere. And the food!!!! We had the beef sliders, tune poke, ceviche and duck poutine. Everything was delicious!!!

Must visit! Amazing freshness. Calamari is to die for, best that I have ever had and I order it everywhere. Shrimp �... Amazing. Must try the corn dish. The cheese is so fresh and so are all the herbs. Dessert... We ordered one to try and the three more. The dishes are served as soon as they are cooked. It seems that you are sitting in an eat~in kitchen. The servers are pleasant and make you feel at home.
Fantastic food and great menu choice. Staff friendly and food came quickly. Great place - will be back before I return to the UK.

We really enjoy everything about Plank. THE most delicious food. My favourite the pumpkin chipotle hummus also the fried cauliflower. Great atmosphere. Bonus awesome staff.
Enjoyed a wonderful girls' night out at Plank. The cauliflower fritters are delicious and I highly recommend the brisket & salad. Easy to see why this restaurant is so busy, everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food is exceptional.

The Plank restaurant is one of my favourites in Oakville. The food has been consistently good, and the service is always been phenomenal. I tried the Duck Poutine, the Big Bird Pizza, and both the chicken and beef sliders. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend this place!

When in SA we went on date night with our friends most Fridays .. now that we were visiting them in Canada we had the chance to do this again and with baby sitting rearranged we wanted somewhere special .. what an excellent decision we made when choosing The Plank !
On arrival it was very busy and although invited to have a drink at the bar decided to sit outside (it wasn't too chilly !) on the pavement whilst waiting for a table .. it would be about 20 minutes. It was only about 10 when we were shown our table - lovely and cosy inside.
More drinks ordered - the bar menu is extensive - we decided on a selection of starters which included salt n pepa calamari, fish taco and chicken satay .. the portions are generous and were all really fresh and tasty.
For mains we had steak & frites and duck poutine.. delicious !
For dessert we decided on a selection to share and we're all moreish but by then we couldn't fit another thing in ..
Service was excellent - staff are friendly and attentive and our table water was refilled constantly. Would definitely put this on my go back to list ! I cannot comment on the prices as converting is just eye wateringly expensive.
Excellent bar and resto. Lovely patio, rustic casual decor. Food very good, great friendly service, decent size portions. Recommend their pizzas. Fun upbeat atmosphere all the time, and very lively scene at the bar on weekend nights. Amazing location right on the lake. Highly recommend.
We looked for a place for lunch and Plank popped up- great view of the water and a cool concept of tapas. Our table ordered pizza,fish tacos, duck poutine and dumplings - all was tasty. Staff was kind and service was great! Will definitely recommend.
Pretty good brunch. I had the bourbon Benny which was quite tasty. Friendly staff and it's in a nice location for a walk around Bronte Harbour afterwards.
Sunday brunch. Great food and variety. As usual they had a selection of entree size dishes and tapas style sizes.
Pulled pork eggs benni, well cooked however hollandaise was a little sweet.
Rancho Huevos was excellent with a good kick of jalapeño.
Steak frites with polenta fries was interesting & tasty.
Pork tacos, cauliflower fritters & calamari tapas dishes were all excellent.
Great service with the wait staff well versed in the menu.
One of my favorite restaurants in the bronte area. Glad to find a place that puts focus on different foods from a variety of nationalities and specialties. I would eat here everyday if I could.
Great atmosphere, people and menu.. I love Plank Restobar! The staff is always lovely and the drinks and food are always served promptly with great tummy satisfaction. They have all the great drafts from local organics to the highlight imports. I highly recommend their Duck Poutine, any of their mussels and the East Coast Pizza. Absolutely brilliant place.
Cauliflower App, Calamari App, Mushroom Dip, Dumb Sum, Italiano Pizza and the Med-Spice Caesar Cocktail. Everything was just perfect ! And the waitress was delightful and described everything on point-excellent service !

I've been twice in the last couple of months. First time was great-had never been before. Took a seat at the bar while we waited for a table because the place was packed, which was actually awesome because the open concept kitchen allowed us to scope out all the menu options. The bar tender served us drinks quickly even though she was inundated. This was a Saturday so we waited roughly half an hour for a seat. Tried gyoza, fish tacos, the braised meat option-which was ribs, and duck poutine. Everything was great but the fish tacos were mediocre. Overall awesome experience.
The second time we went for the $10 pizza after 10pm and a few beers (delerium on tap- perfect). Pizza was good, not outstanding but definitely good. The only problem with this night was that we actually booked a table but ended up having to wait 10 mins or so. This was a Friday. So I guess the wait times both nights is actually a positive statement about the popularity, quality, and atmosphere of this place. I really like it, and will definitely be back!
