Very tasty sushi and Japanese food!! Very reasonable prices for sushi. Nabeyaki udon was delicious — large portion. Tempura shrimp came on the side — nice that it didn’t get soggy in the soup.
Sushi rolls with large portions of fish compared to rice.
Service was amazing — very attentive staff.
Great presentation for their dishes, which we didn’t expect but made the dining experience so much better. Highly recommend!

Very ambient dining space and is quite a standout on a street with many eateries. What sets Mr. Sushi apart, is the super friendly staff, wide menu, customisations and loads of superb recommendations. Service is quick and efficient. The green tea and miso soup sets quite a stage for the gastronomic delights to follow. The Rainbow and Dynamite is a must try. The prices are an absolute bang for your buck.

My sister and I came here for lunch, she ordered the yam & avocado roll and I the chicken teriyaki box and definitely left very satisfied! Absolutely amazing taste, service, and quality. Definitely well worth your money as well, highly recommend! 😊

They do not offer inside dining (due to covid) and only have takeout.
The spicy rolls are not very spicy but the taste is still great.
I tried couple of regular and a couple of special rolls and all were very good. The miso soup was the only thing that was a bit under expectation but overall experience was great

It's a Friday night, every place is busy and Mr. Sushi is packed, take out orders are overflowing two tables. Thinking to yourself fat chance I'd get a table. Still I check the wait time. I'm immediately greeted by a enthusiastic staff and seated. I have questions about the menu and they take the time to explain and recommend food while dealing with a rush. How can service get much better? I end up over ordering and they somehow get the food to me in 10 minutes. Keep in mind they are in a massive rush and the take out order is being picked up as fast as they are being put out. Food was amazing and somehow after everything the bill only came out to 50$ for two people over ordering. The 25% tip is not enough. Had to custom it!

A new sushi joint in the area. I was a little skeptical to try this place out, I wasn't really sure how authentic, or if it was like a fusion japanese. To my surprise, it was really good. I thought it was a little bit more expensive than other japanese restaurants in the neighborhood for the lunch special, but I thought that the quality of food was actually better than most. There ARE more and more japanese or fusion places happening in the area, but I quite liked this place. I only tried this bento box this time, and it was really good. I would want to come back and try other stuff on the menu.

This was my first visit to Mr. Sushi and won't be my last! Everything was perfectly prepared - definitely try the dragon roll, the spicy agedashi tofu, and the salmon and tuna sashimi - and the service was excellent. I also really loved the environment/decor. Upscale, with a modern meets rustic design.

LOVE this place! We were a large group so got to sample a bit of everything; sushi and sashimi were fresh, pizza sushi was amazing as was the soft shell crab. We also ordered a bunch of rolls - definitely try Karl's Roll! And the Aburi Oshi Sushi... it was my first time and wow! My stomach is growling thinking about the food here! Great that it's super conveniently located too. As for staff - friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back.

Thanks to the folks at Mr Sushi particularly Ed. We visited Vancouver this weekend and took the sea bus across to North Vancouver. Mr Sushi is within close walking distance. The restaurant is modern and very clean. <br/><br/>Ed recommended the soft shell crab for an appy and the sushi sashimi combo for our entree. The food was absolutely delicious. The fish was fresh and tasty. <br/><br/>I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and guarantee will be back in the future. <br/><br/>

Stopped here on my last visit to Vancouver. The sushi was excellent - very fresh, artfully presented, and delicious. Staff were very friendly, and the location was clean and comfortable, in a great neighborhood. In short, everything I look for in a dining experience. I will be coming back on my next trip west!

My husband and I dropped by on our way home from Whistler to meet friends. Great location in an up and coming neighborhood in Vancouver. The sushi was great - it was a large group so we tried almost everything! Service was awesome. Sashimi was tasty! Rolls were beautifully presented. Volcanoe roll was really fun!<br/>Will be coming back!

Great Location right by the Sea bus! Every time I am in Nort Vancouver I love to stop in for lunch or dinner! they have all the SUSHI classics you can expect. But what is really great is all the special dishes, my favorite is the Mr. Sushi Tower, Volcano Roll and Flying Bacon Roll!<br/>Look How happy I am in this picture, You can be this happy too!<br/><br/>:)

Stopped by here for a quick bite after a hike at Lynn Canyon. Sushi here was nothing amazing, and was not worth the steeper than usual price point. Only upsides I can think about is that it's a convenient and fast place to grab a quick plate of sushi, and the presentation isn't too bad either. To be honest, most sushi is photogenic anyway. If you're in the area, I would still recommend this place. You can't go wrong with a quick and accessible place for sushi.

Slow and unattended service. Food taste so so, not the worst Japanese food, but certainly not the best. Two of us ordered 2 entrees and one dish to share, they brought one of the entrees and the sharing dish, the other entrees arrived after the sharing dish and the first entree finished. I couldn't even eat my entree when it arrived, I have to packed the whole thing to go. I asked for a tea when we ordered, the tea arrived when they brought the food which was a long wait, and topped it up after we asked for bill. Horrible, will never ever go back there !!! Oh one more thing, despite the service quality, they dare set the tip percentage from 15% and up.

Great place with great atmosphere, food, and staffs. If you are looking for the satisfactory sushi place better than thousands of already existing ones in Vancouver, this is the right place.

Bottom line: I've been eyeing this place since it opened and I was waiting for the day when traffic goes to hell and I'm stuck on the North Shore. . The restaurant seemed 75% full so I wasn't hesitant on trying it. In terms of pricing, it's on the higher side for a bento box compared to Vancouver/Burnaby/Richmond pricing.

Was visiting from Toronto and ended up stumbling upon this place after not having enough room for our group at Fishworks. It was a great find, probably one of the best sushis and sashimis I've had. The Mr. sushi sashimi plate had a good assortment of different sashimis and they were all melt in your mouth delicious! I also got the Sashimi Oshi (torched and pressed salmon) which was amazing! Next time I'm in Vancouver I will definitely return to this place
