Review Deep Cove Brewers And Distillers - North Vancouver

Kate Phifer
Hosted a retirement party at Deep Cove Brewers and Distillers and I couldn't have been happier. They were great to work with, super accommodating and helpful with every question I had along the way. I would definitely host another event there again soon. As always the food and beer was great! I had lots of positive reviews from guests that had never visited the brewery before.

What a beautiful brewery. Great seating inside and out. Almost feels like you're in the forest. The beer: Method Pale Ale is simply spectacular. Smooth and full of flavor. Pineapple Mango Sour is full of fruit flavor with that lovely sour twist. Leaves you wanting your next sip. Definitely a must stop on any brewery stop

I really like the updated food menu. Delicious lobster rolls and crab cakes. Good beer and cider.

Was ok. Decided to check it out with a friend after a climbing session at The Hive next door. Was surprisingly busy for a rainy day and was offered “bar” seats at the window. Tried the Tuna Stack and the IPA Grapefruit Radler. Tuna stack was pretty good. Very heavy on the mayo which maybe the flavour ratios imbalanced. I do feel more chips would be better. The Radler was very good! But I find it confusing to have the drink served with an orange wedge when it doesn’t have any orange in the drink. The service could have been better. There seemed to be two front of house staff which seemed fine. I didn’t feel that welcomed and I felt confused regarding if self seating was required and if the bill was to be brought to us after our dining experience. I felt the staff could have been more interactive with the tables. I do understand if they aren’t really expected to based on their safety due to the pandemic but they seemed to keep to themselves a lot at the bar, more so in comparison to other dine-in experiences I’ve had recently. Would I come back? Yes. I’m always willing to try anything twice. But at this time I won’t be in a rush to return anytime soon. Thank you for the experience 🙂

Really lovely place for its casual atmosphere good and a affordable brews, and a pretty good food menu too. Disappointed by their menu accuracy today though. I was intrigued by their Shandy that's supposed to be mixed with cider but they used juice out of a squirt bottle. Also asked for a sparkling water and got charged $5 for "San Pellegrino" that was actually a can of Canada Dry. Really hope this kind of thing doesn't become more of a pattern.

Deep Cove, I really love your beer and I always try to pick some up/support a local business when I’m back home BUT today I was not happy(frustrated). Before I go to Breweries, I usually check the prices beforehand to see what I can expect for prices. Today, I went into the store to grab your beer and there was a very big price difference from your online price and store price. The product was the pomegranate hibiscus sour. Online it states $11.25 + tax&deposit but at the store it was $14.00 + tax&deposit. So it was $2.75 difference!! I asked about it and the 4 employees said maybe there might be a difference because it’s an online order?? (They didn’t know the answer, just guessed and didn’t care to accommodate the fact that the price is different on their website. This is poor customer service in my opinion.) So I thought guess if you order the minimum $50 online they deliver it for free in local area?? But not even close. Shipping in North Vancouver is $17 and the only free method is to pick it up yourself. This makes me wonder and it doesn’t make sense that there’s any price difference from the get go? I feel like I got scammed even though it’s a small amount of money, it’s still my money. I will attach my receipt from the store + online price so you see what I mean. Please let me know why there is a difference between the two. Thanks.

Great place for a few birthday alcoholic slurpies, Nice patio, friendly staff oh and did I mention the beer, scout IPA is almost as or maybe better than Fat Tug!!!!!?

Loved the Raddlers - 2 options - Yuzu or IPA Mediterranean platter, Flatbread and even accommodated a no carb taco request! Super Yum & fun...

This is not your typical brewery, really nice place with cocktails and higher end food. Closer to a pub than your bare bones brewery, and that's fine if that's what your looking for, but I'm not. Still giving it 4 stars, very friendly staff!

Absolutely the best of the best . Excellent beer and food, awesome music and great staff. Super atmosphere !!!

Yup. Local fave because they serve alternatives including cider and gluten free tacos. The space is super sweet and there's a beer garden as well.

The best of the best. From the venue to the food and music... They rock..... Oh yeah, they make a killer beer/vodka/gin too!

We had a great time here last night, naturally helped by the superb beer brewed on the premises. Started off with the 5 Brew taster, before refining my favourites as the 'Test' Pale Ale, Tin Can Nitro Amber, and the Double IPA. Sharing appetizers were excellent, and rather than order a main meal we ordered a second round of appetizers. Service was fine considering it was a busy Saturday night, with live music. Maybe not lightning fast, but staff very friendly and who cares as long as you've a drink in your hand.

Surtout pour essayer leurs propres bières. Les bières que j'ai essayé étaient tous bonnes selon mes goûts. Menu pour manger très limité mais excellent.

Huge shout out to all of the staff and especially our Brew Master Matt. We had such an amazing tour, our experience and service was phenomenal. I will definitely be heading back to fill my growlers.

What's with the bartender dude there? Rudest service I've ever had. Booze was great, but I won't be returning after that awful customer service.

Unique Food. Good beer. Unique setting. Not somewhere to go if you are in a rush. I would not change anything about my experience.
Vern Bastable
Great brews and food. The Gin is not so good. Try the Ginger Beer.

We've been in Vancouver a month (moved from Washington state) and this is both the best local beer we've had AND the most reasonably priced. Less than half an hour out of Vancouver, helpful but unobtrusive staff, quiet on a Sunday afternoon.

Not only is the beer amazing, the service is phenomenal and the tasting room is gorgeous... Some day, I wish to have a tasting room like that in my house... The growlers are a great pick up for Beer Friday.

This is putting the description of the beer Trapper John's simply, but thank you for the awesome smooth finish. My taste buds are love at first taste.
