Review Jade Garden Kitchen - North Vancouver

With the limited Chinese restaurant options in North Van, Jade Garden serves up consistently delicious Szechuan style dishes. Prices have gone up but their portions have have remain huge (if not bigger than I remember). Ginger beef, spicy eggplant hotpot, fish maw soup are our favourites. Hainanese chicken and seafood fried rice are also very tasty. Quick and friendly service. They do deliver but portions are smaller than dining in.

Amazing Chinese food, they do not have an infinite selection like other places, but what's on the menu is worth your while. The portions are just right.

Arguably the best Chinese restaurant on the North Shore ~ authentic Chinese food & friendly servers. Absolutely loved their lamb clay pot & fried BBQ duck with preserved veggies.

Excellent Chinese food. Quality and portions are always consistent. The staff here are fantastic and the service is fast. We always order the garlic spicy squid, chicken wings, sweet n' sour pork, but you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. This restaurant is definitely as good if not better than other Chinese restaurants in Vancouver or Richmond.

Sweet and sour chicken was good but everything else tasted off. The spring rolls and other chicken were soggy. One of the wonton soup bowls had also cracked and leaked in the bag. They used their own delivery service so you can’t track your order and the whole process from ordering to delivery took about 1h 45m. The driver didn’t call on arrival and marked the food as delivered before we even got our food, which lead to us having to call the restaurant. We ordered about $100 worth of food and it really wasn’t worth it.

So I ordered chicken chow mein, spring rolls and house special fried rice for delivery. I got crispy fried vermicelli noodles with some gross side sauce, soft spring rolls low key not even cooked and then raw pork in the fried rice. I called the restaurant and told them that this was not what I ordered(the noodles) and they offered me a complimentary wonton soup... I said um, no thank you. Can i get the aight order tonight? You guys deliver, cant you just make up for your mistake since i have paid for delivery etc. They said they couldnt afford to pay for another delivery... so I said thatvidba bit unfair since this was your mistake. Then they proceeded to blame covid, I work in a restaurant- we are all suffering. This was not a valid excuse to me. At most they would pay their driver 3 to 5 dollars AT MOST. Regardless I was like k fine you messed up and you wont fix it whatever. I got them to agree to a store credit of "free" chow mein aka what I paid for. But it couldnt be tonight. AND if I wanted to order delivery again for this complimentary chow mein, I would have to spend a minimum of 10 dollars and pay for delivery LOL So I said k fine, I will just pick it up at a later date. So I eat my fried rice and the pork is raw. Pictures attached... I have ordered from here before but it has really gone down hill. Just dont get anything with pork.... And don't order delivery.... unless you specific exactly what the order is AGAIN in the little text box. Honestly like you're better off going somewhere else

Always a pleasant experience whether it is dine-in or take out. Consistently good food and have always been very polite and flexible on dietary issues. A very good value for the amount of food you get 🙂👍 Also thank you so much for having delivery as an option other than just doordash ❤️

Service was excellent, food was made fresh to order. Absolutely amazing food, the best Chinese food I've ever had. Highly recommend you try it.

Stopped here to a full restaurant at 1900 hr on a Sunday evening. I was immediately seated and just minutes later the server was back and I was ordering. My dishes included bbq duck,scallop and prawn with snow peas and a Prawn lettuce wrap.the wait even though the venue was full was only 11 mins when the first dish arrived. All dishes were fantastic and huge as the pictures show.

Good value big dishes served piping hot by a nice courteous server . Food was tasty with a wide variety of options. Would definitely try it again !

WOW.. Awesome Food.. I will be back here, for sure..  I've had good chinese, I have had bad chinese, and now amazing chinese.. Coral Court use to be this good.. now they are not.. Come here instead..

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Website says open all day when closed between 3 and 5 ... mentioned they should change it ... could have cared less!! Ordered through just eats via the restaurant's website ... called to see if the order had left to add something and the women was SOOOOOO RUDE!! Said 'no order' ... i said well I've paid for it I can give you the confirmation ... she says 'you call justeats' I said this is your problem you call ... she said 'no ... too busy' ... I've never had such bad and RUDE service from a local Chinese restaurant!

My go-to for a Chinese food craving. Good food, decent service, usually fast delivery times. Haven't had a bad experience. All in all, my go-to place when I'm craving Chinese.

A Real Traditional Chinese Restaurant In Lower Capilano. The chef and owner started with a Malaysian restaurant with another partner some 3 years ago called Sabah. But that collaboration dissolved and he struck out to form this present restaurant in the same place. The menu is extensive and food better and more genuine for what it is supposed to be, a traditional Chinese restaurant. There is dim sum in the mornings, and though I had not had that here, some reported that to be good. I had dined here for lunch and dinner. I have found the food and service to be excellent. I particularly liked his preparation of salt pepper crab, and the ginger scallion lobster over noodles. His dry fried beef and thick rice noodles is outstanding, full of heat (not spicy) or wok hey. I strongly recommend this place. Excellent parking as well.

I always eat at Jade Garden. I love their house special chow mein. It's so crispy and flavoured. Jade Garden also is really quick so u don't have to wait the whole night to get your food. The only con I have if your eating in is that there is not enough tables. But overall delicious!

Great Chinese Food on the North Shore. I have eaten at Jade Garden and have ordered take-out, and every time I have been incredibly impressed. This is by far the best and most authentic Chinese Food on the North Shore. The restaurant is clean and modern, with a good variety in the menu. All the dishes are made fresh with quality ingredients, and you can definitely tell the chef knows what he's doing.<br/><br/>For lunch, we ordered three types of dim sum, fish with pepper salt, and egg plant with sambal sauce. For dinner, we ordered stir fried seasonal veggies with fish fillets, spicy tofu, and chow mein with black bean sauce. Everything was fresh and exceptional tasting. I highly recommend Jade Garden.
