Great evening dining. A dim lit, calm atmosphere with great menu options. Favourites include thai ginger coconut chicken soup, vegetarian spring rolls, and general tao chicken. The red curry is good with shrimp. Enjoy with a glass of wine if you wish.
Where's my Pad Thai?. Best Pad Thai I've ever had! Too bad they get so busy Friday and Saturday nights. You almost have to order the night before. The last few times I've tried to order take out it's a 2 hour wait and I end up going elsewhere. Best Chinese and Thai food in the North for sure. They make almost everything them selves.
Great lunch food & service. I was relieved we had wonderful service and food today at lunch. Last time I went I waited 45 minutes for a Bento box at lunch. Not today! Delicious tandoori salmon, mango salad box. They are redeemed!
Awesome Chinese. This is the best place to eat oriental style food north of Toronto. Very nice staff, great food, wonderful hostess Simone. When asked do u have great Chinese food in North Bay we say " We Gaw"
The food is very good at the Papaya. Had a fabulous soup there ffor lunch. The only issue I had was the time it took 50 minutes to be served soup and cold spring rolls is too long to wait for lunch. It's a shame I had to wait so long as once the food did arrive it was very tasty and full of rich flavours.
A hidden gem!
I was here for my first time with some girlfriends before a comedy show. The restaurant was clean and had a friendly and fabulous dining vibe to it. The food was absolutely delicious, with plentiful portion sizes. I find alot of restaurants hold back the protein in my dish, but this restaurant didn't hold back. I ended up ordering take-out before I left to take home for my family.
The staff was very personable and professional.

Went to DGP for the first time in 2019 and have been a regular ever since. The foods is always great, the portions are very reasonable, and the staff is always friendly and kind. I'm still obsessed with the spicy thai red curry with seafood and their spring rolls. The crunch on those things is insane. Love it!
Absolutely delicious food which I treat myself to sporadically as we live an hour away. Try the Tomato/Ginger/Beef dish and the Classic Pad Thai is always a go to. Don't skip the spring rolls which are a generous size. I'm hungry again thinking about the meal.
Just got home from here after treating my Mom for her birthday, and just had to take a moment to waddle over to my computer and say, "Yummmmm!" I'm so full. The food tasted fresh, the service was excellent, they offered to open the doors early for me, and there was a lot of personal attention. I want them to adopt me.
Friendly staff and really good food. We started with egg rolls and some very hot (temperature not spice) wonton soup, then shared the Mango Tango chicken, which was pretty sweet, the people I went with can't have much spice, so it was mild. I think the full spice would have drawn away from the sweetness some. The Chow Mein was excellent, as was the beef fried rice. The beef broccoli stir fry was very rich and flavourful. All in all a great experience.
Dave's Green in North Bay is one of the best thai food place I've been to in a long time. The classic Pad thai, which included chicken and shrimp was spot on. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items. The multiple awards hung on the wall are no surprise after you taste the food. I will return and suggest you do the same.
