Great experience....first the washroom was clean since it was the first place I went (long drive). The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. Then the food came...WOW....huge piece of perfectly cooked fish and tons of yummy fries...and coleslaw. Would make it a regular place to visit if we lived nearby. But worth a visit!!!.

One of my favourite restaurants in town. Great, great service; fast and very friendly! The halibut is tremendous; a huge meaty portion coated in the best batter you'll ever taste. They give you way too many handcut fries (which is never a bad thing!) Their homemade coleslaw is amazing, as is their tartar sauce. And I always start my meal with a bowl of their incredible English onion soup. It's a must try, and tastier than the Keg's French onion. If you go for supper later in the week make sure to make a reservation. Great restaurant!

Good service. Good food. Huge portions - 1 salad fed 3 people.
We had salad, fish & chips, sticky toffee pudding, ice cream. All good. They make their own ice cream! Vanilla was really good.
Gluten free options available - All fish can be ordered grilled instead of battered, and chips are cooked in a dedicated fryer.

We went to chip n malt for the first time. The fish and chips were delicious, huge portions. We also got the calamari. Huge portion. The burgers were amazing, all home made. The service was fantastic and they really made you feel welcome. All around fantastic restaurant with no complaints. We will be back soon
