The Grand is always a good choice for a quiet meal in a lovely setting. The menu choices are great and always a little bit different. Today's soup was a very enjoyable Duck Arugula. The crab lollipops were perfect as usual. We will return.
Honestly if I could give this place more stars, I would. We had an anniversary dinner here that was fantastic. I don’t know how more people don’t know about this place. We went on a Saturday evening and were the only ones there! I had a fantastic steak and my partner had the lobster lasagna- to die for. The wine list was also very nice and diverse. We are big on wine so we loved it. The service was out of this world. Hassan went above and beyond and it showed in his service and all of the details. Can’t tell you enough that you need to check out this place. Wish we lived in the area, because we would be back again.
This is my first restaurant I had tried when I was in Nanaimo and I was sooooooo amazed !!! I m from Vancouver and Taiwan, both places are full with diverse and delicious food! But the quality of the food they make here is amazing!! Beautiful atmosphere too. There were only two tables of the customers including myself.. feel like it was my privilege to dine in at this hidden gem! Not saying that the food in here is diverse, but def delicious and good quality compare to the same dishes I have tried in Vancouver(the keg, catus club.. etc) if you don’t mind the price, wanna spend some romantic special time with a good food and serve. Give this place a try!

The service was excellent, the decor and ambience very nice and the prices wrt the quality are reasonably reasonable🤔. They could raise their game with the sides that accompany the entrees. We will likely return for special occasions.
Great price and outstanding service with a very classic garden experience. Downton Abbey vibes and a hotel dog. not much more to ask for.
We were treated to an amazing meal here for our anniversary. The food was incredible, so attractive and delicious. We had the halibut and potatoes.
