Excellent spot for quality Mediterranean groceries, snacks, teas, and homemade deli items, salads, desserts etc! The owner is warm and friendly, without asking he offered a spoonful of a deli dish to try before I bought it. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices for juices, snacks and other grocery items!
Stopped over in Nanaimo on a sailing trip around Vancouver Island with my kids. Wanted to try this place since it was close to our marina. Incredible experience. Delicious food, kindest owner - fed fresh spanakopita to my kids and made us feel like family. My daughter pronounced him the “nicest man she’s ever met.” A true experience. Don’t miss it. People are good.
This store is magnificent! The owner is one of the nicest men! His shop is full of delectable foods. Take some time to walk around and see this hidden gem!!! The homemade dips are to die for!!
By far the best source of middle eastern foods in the mid island area. The owner is a delightful and generous man. He sells the best olives, feta, spinach pies and so so much more.

Highly recommend MB Mart...Krinos Kalamata extra virgin olive oil from Greece is fantastic.. Worth the trip just for the this olive oil.
This market is fabulous. The baklava was so good, we went back for more. The hummus is out of this world. You won't be disappointed.
Very welcoming and they've got a large variety of Middle Easten and Halal food. I think this is the only place that sells Mediterranean food here in Nanaimo
