Love the staff, the energy, and their matcha latte every time I come into this coffee shop. The owner is hilarious and his employees always makes me smile when I walk in, especially in the mornings when I'm half asleep haha.
Best coffee. The coffee here tastes like coffee should. Easily the best place to pick up any sort of coffee drink: espresso, cappuccino, or just a plain drip coffee.
Great atmosphere, great service, and great food! Their deliciously moist carrot cake will melt in your mouth as you sink into one of their comfy chairs.
The Buzz and its staff definitely goes the extra mile, whether that be through making a great beverage or goodie, keeping the place squeaky clean, or maintaining an effortlessly West-Coast-cool atmosphere. I've only been here a couple times, but I'll definitely be making the drive out to from the South end to indulge in a few more menu items :)
This cafe is amazing! Nothing to say but good things! Drinks are good, food amazing and staff are the friendliest people! Had the privilege of working with us cafe on a project and they truly were they sweetest more helpful people. I highly recommend coming to this locally ran cafe! 💗💗

I don't live in Nanaimo but was thoroughly impressed when we found this humble little coffee shop on highway 4 on our way through town.
We were immediately greeted with incredible positivity and incredible enthusiasm. This shop is high on locally sourced and independent java proprietors. And our order came with an offer of a explanation of the beans in our cup.
It's an unassuming spot. Humble. Nothing fancy. But when you're seeking good coffee isn't that all that matters (plus the service of course).
Stopped in for the first time with my 7 month old daughter while we waited for my husband to finish an appointment and was so pleased. Great coffee and fantastic ambiance. We were surprised by the chef offering an orange slice for my daughter and I thought it was so kind! We didn't realize that there was a brunch menu and it looked quite good so we're excited to come back soon to try it out.
What a pretty place. So stylishly decorated. Lots of white paint, plants and basketry. Wanting to support these guys after recent events I took my family there for lunch. It was tasty, the staff was friendly and helpful. Even gave my hubby a free coffee on our way out. We'll be going back again. 😎
