Hit the Hut. Stopped in Nakusp for lunch and couldn't pass on The Hut...road food on a road trip!

I had the bacon and cheese burger, my wife the fried chicken. We shared a chocolate shake.

The burger was okay...pre-made patty a bit of a let down. The fried chicken was excellent, crispy coating with good crunch and a light seasoning; and not greasy. Highly recommend going for the chicken!

The chocolate shake was excellent, too. Thick 'n' chocolatey.

The Hut has plenty of picnic tables and shade trees, overall a fine stop!
