What an amazing place to dine! Not only was the food too good for words but the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. The service we received from Janaka and Deepthi was nothing short of spectacular, with a menu of authentic Italian food that will make your mouth water. The restaurant has a rustic and warm feel to it which made us feel right at home! The next time we're in Morinville, Bistro De Madre Piccola will definitely be on our to-eat list!
Amazing food and wonderful service! The garlic sauce with the shrimp was delicious so was the chicken Lombardy. Will definitely be back!
We checked out this restaurant based on the many reviews we read, and OMG - it did not disappoint! Just visiting from Saskatoon, we knew that a visit to Bistro Di Madre Piccola was in order, and the food was so delicious we went there the next night, too! Deepthi and his staff were very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. The experience was one that we can't wait to have the next time we're in Alberta. These guys truly have a gem of a business, and their passion definitely shows in the details & especially the taste!!!
Excellent escargot dish. We plan to visit this restaurant again. The sauces have a unique flavor and complement the main course. Lots of good flavor.
I had their food for the first time today. I was thoroughly impressed. I ordered off the menu and had spaghetti with a red sauce. It was delicious. I look forward to trying more dishes in the future. It's nice to find quality food at a good price in my new town!
The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, clean, and tasteful. It's become my favourite place to go and eat. The staff here do absolutely everything in their power to provide a comfortable and luxurious dining experience.

The rib eye was done to perfection. The lamb can take you to other dimensions... Please just go try the lamb before you die. The halibut was tasteful. I love their skewered tempura prawns, I never liked mushroom soup until I tried theirs. And the pizza is so flavourful I don't know what they do to the sauce and cheese but its unreal and the crust is perfectly fluffy and thick and sweet. They always add fresh leaves and spices from the little garden. Im heading in right now from Sandy Beach to for their pizza.. or maybe the lamb...
This was an amazing dinner! Everything was so flavourful and delicious! They were busy (understandable) and only had two waiters, but were very considerate. This will be our new date night spot!

Great food, amazing service!. Great tasting, quality food for super reasonable price! Warm, inviting environment that is great for celebrating special occasions or even if you just feel like treating yourself on any day of the week :) the staff were super helpful and accommodating to all sorts of simple and special requests. Would definitely go back and recommend to others!
Pleasantly Surprised. My wife and I decided to try this place for the first time, to celebrate our anniversary. We weren't disappointed at all. The service was excellent. Server (Dipdee?) was great, very friendly. Our food was done just right, we both had steaks. We were treated to honey cake for desert, which was a very nice gesture. Would recommend to anyone.
Celiac (gluten free) and very happy
My boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant out this evening and were very impressed!!! I have celiac disease and the staff was very knowledgeable, I was surprised! They cooked me a Wonderful meal!! Tastes like home cooked meal too it's finest! I had the salmon with veggies and rice. Best salmon I have had! Seriously!!!! Mmmm was very good! My boyfriend had the chicken cordon blue and he said it was very good as well. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better! I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone and returning very frequently myself!!! So happy to find such well prepared and cooked food in Morinville!!!
