Great Russian family run restaurant. Authentic Georgian meals at reasonable prices. Love their perogies and borscht.They also make a mean Chicken Kiev and Beef Strogonof. Service is moderate to slow depending on night.Always super friendly and warm. One of the best Russian Restaurants in Montreal almost 17 years in the running now. Decor homey but not trendy. Just god home made meals.
I love this restaurant. It is intimate and so much fun: feels like you're in a family-run establishment in Eastern Europe. The food is amazing, and the service is attentive but not intrusive. Definitely go here on a night when there is live entertainment. Better yet, eat here on Valentine's Day and be prepared to dance! The lunch specials are a great deal, and offer a nice introduction to their most popular dishes. Everything I've tried so far (pelmeni, vareniki, beef stroganoff, duck Georgian-style, schnitzel, borscht) has been hearty and heavenly!
Food was great! Our waitress patiently explained all the different specialties and we're weren't disappointed. Definitely a place we want to come back to.
