Cari mela is literally right around the corner from my house. It's really a mystery why I haven't been before. I just...I don't understand it. I went with my girl V, who is a big fan of the Indian persuasion, a couple weeks back, for lunch. The place itself, like a lot of Indian restos, is nothing special. Dark room, old tables and chairs, crap on walls. That sums it up, I think. We got there for a late lunch and had not realized that they close again at 2PM until dinner time, so our lunch was cut short a bit, which kind of sucked. But hey, we should've checked! My bad!
Excellent food and service. Reasonably priced. Had chicken bangalore and wife had tandoori -both very good. Win win.
Good stuff. Great place, though I find it's a bit on the mild side...the flavours are right on and the service is perfect. Excellent quality & value - you won't be disappointed.
Currylicious!!!. Wow - at last great Indian take-out comes to the Sud-Ouest area! We've tried them all - and THIS is the only place that measures up. Great food, and while the classics are all there, the menu also includes a lot of different items. Like the Khurma dishes, which are a must-try!
De très bonnes portions. Je conseille les menus découvertes pour goûter à plusieurs mets différents et lorsque vous êtes plusieurs à manger là. Je dis manger là, mais j’ai simplement été à cet endroit pour du take-out . Source : RestoMontreal Je préfère le boeuf épicé avec un plat de riz. Très épicé pour me brûler la bouche, mais pas trop pour aller jusqu’à pleurer. 20$ et tu en as pour un souper un lunch. C’est parfait et c’est bon. C’est un apporté votre vin en plus.
