Cafe Green, as I would fondly call it, is centrally located on Avenue Viger next to TD, it serves an array of sandwiches and the place is frequented by office goers during the lunch hours. Salads and juices stand out but are noting to rave about. Good decent meal for lunch close to the office
After a recent of review about Mandy’s, I was told that Green Cafe serves just as a good salad if not, better. I was curious and we cannot deny that Mandy’s salad is on the expensive side. If I can have a just as great salad offered at a lower price, why wouldn’t I?. There are several Green Cafe and they are all conveniently placed in Montreal downtown, so it is very accessible for office workers during lunch time. I had a healthy walk of 5-10 minutes and I was already at the one located on Drummond street.
I've been to the one in Rue Viger, near Peel station. Good service and fresh food! I love the soup in Thai savor! The salad is in a big portion, enough for 2ppl to share!
Great food, friendly staff. We were a group of eight with my 80 year old mother who just had a knee replacement so walked with a cane. The only available tables were the bar stool height and the only other available table was reserved. One of the ladies behind the counter must have seen us pondering the situation and immediately put us at the reserved table. They were wonderful and friendly and the food was all excellent from the soup to the sandwiches and finally the desserts. Very clean, nice urban look and a place I would definitely go back to.
