Laïka est stimulant pour les gens qui aiment plusieurs activités dans une même journée....La meilleur place pour étudier, avoir un meeting d'affaires, déguster un plat d'une cuisine réaffiné et originale; soit pour petit déjeuner, déjeuner, lunch, snack et souper. Pendant qu'on mange on peux observer les gens, la neige, le soleil, les arbres, les voitures... Dans l'immense fenêtre qui donne une allure un peu surréaliste sur place. L'ambiance est relax et industrielle avec une touche rétro. J'aime bien pouvoir déguster de la bonne musique pendant que je passe mes heures sur place. Les soirs, le Laïka se converti dans un endroit parfait pour boire un verre et pouvoir danser ou parler avec tes amis ou staff pendant que le dj joue une musique bien choisie, souvent accompagné des visuels projétés... Une de mes places préférés à Montreal ! ��
Laika is an awesome place always something new and interesting to try. Wether it be food, music or good company. Thank you bruno for making one of my favorite places to go out in Montreal. I enjoyed every stay i had in your establishment.

Superbe endroit. Ca toujours ete dailleurs. Le proprio es super gentil. La bouffe delectable. Bref cest un endroit ou tu aller et re y aller encore et encore. Parfait.
Un incontournable pour les artistes depuis un nombre respectable d’années, et pas seulement celles et ceux qui émergent des arts technologiques. Personnel super, bonne cuisine et un patron visionnaire et rassembleur.

Nous sommes y sommes allés dans la cadre de MTL à Table. Belle ambiance relaxe, même sans le festival, le prix est très bien.

Good spot. Interesting specials, all well made. Nice staff, strong wifi. Sit and watch the street walk by while eating well. Creme of mushroom soup, rouleaux of Asperges and homard with a spicy mayo sauce, nice Bavette with Marchand de vin sauce. All nice. And Cidres en fut. winner.
Enjoyable, unassuming, and unpretentious. Laïka has become one of my Montreal staples. The vibe is always laidback, the prices are more than adequate, the service is usually great, and the music is always on point. What I like best is the mixed crowd, from creative types, to students, to business people having a 5 à 7. Their breakfast is pretty stellar. And it's a great place for a casual business meeting.

Best soy latte in Montreal! Good food and nice place for a casual evening drink, ask for the espresso martini.
Baguette french toast!. I love this place and have been back many times. They have lots of creative brunch options, but my favourite is still the baguette french toast. I also love the feel of the place and it's versatility. It's a nice place to go for brunch, to get some work done in the afternoon, or to hang out with friends in the evening. One of my favourites!
Yummy brunch. Yummy brunch , went there on two consecutive weekends and had 2 different brunch items, both were fantastic. The Paillasson with swiss cheese and mushrooms (and egg) and the Poached Eggs with artichoke, cheddar and sausage,...

service is super slow on a bad (read: busy) day.... i.e. the weekend... but sketchy waiter gave me one of my two coffees free of charge which made me dislike him less haha
brunch is nonetheless awesome, and laika's got good vibe, on both hot summer days and chilly winter evenings.

Very Tasty Food , Student Decor. I wasn't that impressed with the decor when I walked in, Laika kinda looks like the student cafeteria in the bottom of a university crossed with a coffee bar. There was a concrete wall with the drywall missing directly in front of where we were seated and the floor was also concrete without any adornement. I knew I had arrived at a good place when I looked at the menu which manages to skirt the line between the staples of brunch and the avant garde with much applomb. I had two poached eggs on top of a avacado half surrounded by an extreemly tasty spicy tomatoe sauce. It was all delicious, though I would say that the toast while being of artisan origin had more akin to a really fancy cracker as it arrived too dry without any butter on it. That being said I would definetly go back there again.
