The best place for real home made ice cream in MTL. Try the fantastic "pistache maison".
Mioum mioum! Des produits faits avec des produits locaux et de grande qualité! Incomparable!
À consommer sans modération ! Les produits sont authentiques et savoureux :)
La forêt noir un délice le personnel très sympa en repassera sûrement!
Best ice cream! Love the flavours, always fresh. So sad they have left the St. Denis location!
Meilleure crème glacée à Montréal !
Bonne continuation !
Mmm!
I have been trying out a few different ice cream shops around town and I have to say this is ranking on my top 2 list. Everything here is home made. The ice cream, sorbet, and waffle cones. They have choices for everyone. Hard ice cream, soft ice cream, shakes, sundays etc. The ice cream is rich and tasty. I had the campfire flavour and my friend had the dark chocolate and banana. Both of us could not get over how good it was.
It is certainly not the cheapest of ice cream shops, but it is not over the top expensive either. Certainly worth the money.
This is one of the best house made ice cream you can get in Montreal. The flavours are always different and they are really tasty! I usually take the assorted mini ice cream package so you try different sorbet.
Courrez-y ! /

OMG. I don't use acronyms but this place gets an OMG. I can't even eat their ice cream (dairy free bc of baby, lame) but that's okay. They have a large selection of sorbets, including a soft serve option. And, to top it all off, they make everything in house, even the cones. I loved the coconut, watermelon, and strawberry sorbets. We ordered a sampler which gives you six little scoops in their own shot glasses. Super cute and very delicious. Yum...
This is the best ice cream place in Montreal hands down. My personal favorites include pistachio, vanille caramel ganache and matcha. Their desserts whether it be a chocolate mousse or cheesecake are phenomenal. I come here at least once a week. Loyal customer!
Homemade and Cute Place. I've always dreamt of a home sweet home desert place and Les Givrés have conquered my heart with all their homemade products - from Ice Cream to their cone. They always offer different flavour depending of the season of fruits. They also usually use local ingredients like blueberries from Quebec.
Great artisanal ice cream. I've been a few times and keep coming back for the ice cream. I once ordered a sundae -- just one small complaint there (wish there had been more chocolate sauce -- they were nice enough to give me more for free, though -- and also wish that it had been more of a hot fudge sauce).
Good ice cream. I liked it. There was lot a cool choices. The grilled marshmallow one was very good, with lot of nice marshmallow bits in it. I'd go back to try something else.
Everything FROM THE SCRATCH; best ice creams in town;
es! The weather permitted me to go to Les Givres!
This time, I noticed that we can order 6 flavors at once! and at a very reasonable price and portion! I’m a real fan of Les Givres’ strawberry sorbet. So of course, one of the 6 flavors is that!

No wonder they speak so much and highly about the ice cream here. It actually rivals or even surpasses some of the other places I’ve been to in the last three months.

They serve an array of chilled scoopable treats, vanilla and chocolate soft serve ice cream, and a bunch of other cold creations
Les Givrés has been on my must try list for a while. For starters, it’s ice cream is reported to be one of the best in the city. Plus, they offer so much more such – wild and fun flavours, tasting menus, tarts and other pastries, macarons, ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, cookies, cookie dough, and they even make their own cones. Julien offered me a huge cup full of a ‘freestyle’ mix of flavours which I ate on the run. I didn’t get time to talk to him about the specific flavours he put in the cup but I definitely tasted apple pie, grapefruit, mango, and apple. It was all oh so good… I also took some frozen cookie dough, and a pint of vanilla with a caramel swirl to go. There’s definitely more that I want to try for next time, and I am already looking forward to my next trip back! Decor: Very nice. Someone has obviously taken the time to come up with something a little out of the ordinary from your usual ice cream shop. There is also a terrace in the front that I can imagi
After meeting up for dinner with BraisedandConfused , she took us to Les Givres for some post-dinner treats! Les Givres specializes in artisan ice cream. It is all made in-house and made with the best ingredients. They always try to come up with some crazy flavour combinations that tastes great. Once you enter, there is the counter on the left and seats on the right. It’s really a great spot to just chill after dinner. They have a good amount of flavours to choose from, so I am sure you will find something that tickles your tastebuds. If you aren’t into ice cream, they have other desserts such as chocolate mousse cakes and macarons. We grabbed a few and just stole a little bit from each other so everyone could try a bit of the flavours. There is coffee , pistachio and green tea . These all had strong flavours and were very enjoyable, the downside is that each scoop is about $3, so it’s not cheap at all. Green Tea (matcha) Ice Cream Apple Pie Ice Cream is another one we got after our in
ice to warm the heart :St-Denis: For the umpteenth time, my sister loves ice cream. Prior to my visit last weekend she sent me a few links...for ice cream. One was for Les Givrés . I like the logo - igloos are rad. So after a day of sweltering heat and humidity, I suggested we stop by on our way home. Needless to say, she didn't say no. Les Givrés is getting a lot of reviews, and most people are loving it - myself included. What's not to love? Everything is homemade. Even the cones. They're not the waffle cones you might except. Rather, they have funky contraption that pops out regular cones - you know the kind you grew up eating. I call them the McDonalds cone - because my earliest memories of eating ice cream cones was from McDonalds, on a Sunday, after church. Les Givrés has a lot of flavours. Scooped out and served by friendly faces. Something for everybody. I went with the campfire marshmallow and coffee. Yum yum. Double yum means it gets my stamp of approval. My sister got cho
